OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Owen Nichols scored 29 points and Ben Westrick added 12 points. Ethan Alt chipped in 11 points. For Van Wert, Owen Treece scored 32 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf improves to 12-0 and 3-0 in the Western Buckeye League. Van Wert goes to 3-8 and 1-3 in league play.

LCC 73, Van Buren 50

LIMA — Biggz Johnson had 20 points and Rossy Moore, Nate Stolly and Rodney Bennett each scored 10 for Lima Central Catholic (6-6).

Wapakoneta 34

KENTON — Kenton’s Jacob Eversole scored 19 points. For Wapakoneta, Noah Ambos scored 12 points.

Kenton improves to 9-5 and 4-0 in the WBL.

Lincolnview 61,

Bluffton 45

MIDDLE POINT — Lincolnview’s Collin Overholt scored 16 points and Jake Bowersock chipped in 15 points. Creed Jessee added 10 points. For Bluffton, Mason Soper scored 14 points and Jared Piercefield notched 11 points. Luke Denecker added 10 points.

Lincolnview evens its record at 6-6 and improves to 2-1. Bluffton falls to 11-2 and 3-1 in the NWC.

Columbus Grove 71,

SPENCERVILLE — Columbus Grove’s Tayt Birnesser hit 10 3-pointers and pumped in 36 points. Teammate Blakey Reynolds added 15 points. For Spencerville, Dalton Pritchard scoed 16 points.

Columbus Grove improves to 11-0 and 4-0 in the Northwest Conference. Spencerville slips to 2-10 for the year and 0-3 in the NWC.

NEW KNOXVILLE — Carson Bierlein had 15 points and Max Henschen scored eight for the host Rangers (2-11, 0-3 MAC). Individual scoring for Fort Recovery (9-3, 2-3 MAC) was not reported by deadline.

Parkway 58,

New Bremen 43

ROCKFORD — Parkway’s Dylan Hughes scored 19 points and Caden Slusher added 16 points. Caleb Kinney added 14 points. For New Bremen, Patrick Wells had 14 points and Nolan Bornhorst chipped in 13 points.

Parkway improved to 10-4 and 2-1 in the MAC. New Bremen falls to 6-6 and 1-2 in conference play.

Upper Scioto Valley 80

Temple Christian 44

MCGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley’s Quinn Sanders scored 32 points and Jackson Rohrs and Tristan Fisher ech scored 10 points. For Temple Christian, Austin Hill scored 17 and Landon Callaham added 14. Josh Engle chipped in 13.

USV improves to 9-6 and 4-1 in the Northwest Central Conference and Temple Christian falls to 0-13 and 0-4 in conference play.

Hardin Northern 53

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Perry’s Brayden Knight scored 18 points and Jeffrey Simpson produced 16 points. Will Knight added 13 points and Chazz Jackson chipped in 12 points For Hardin Northern, Ewan Martin scored 18 points.Nevin Roson and Luke Wilson each had 16 points.

Perry improves to 10-3 for the season and 5-0 in the NWCC. Hardin Northern falls to 6-7 for the year and 0-4 in conference action.

Leipsic 54,

Cory-Rawson 40

LEIPSIC — Leipsic’s Drew Liffick scored 17 points and Lorenzo Walther grabbed eight rebounds. For Cory-Rawson, Carson Hauck had 19 points and Keevan Lee scored 11 points.

Leipsic improves to 6-5 for the season and 3-1 in the Blanchard Valley Conference and Cory-Rawson falls to 4-7 and 1-4 in the BVC.

Pandora-Gilboa 52,

Arcadia 38

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa’s Walker Macke had 19 points and Austin Miller chipped in 12 points.. Ryan Johnson scored 10 points. For Arcadia Hayden Rader had 20 points.

Pandora-Gilboa goes to 6-5 for the season and 2-3 in the BVC. Arcadia drops to 5-8 for the year and 2-3 in conference play.

Coldwater 59,

Delphos St. John’s 45

DELPHOS — Coldwater’s Noah Miller had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Will Broering added 13 points. Myles Blasingame had 10 points, six rebounds and two assksts and Jake Hemmelgarn had six points, five assists and four steals.

Coldwater improves to 6-6 for the season and 2-3 in the Midwest Atheltic Conference and Delphos falls to 10-2 and 3-1 in the MAC.

Minster 52,

Marion Local 47

MINSTER — Minster’s Jacob Salazar scored 14 points and Justin Nixon added 12 points. For Marion Local, Brady Ronnebaum scored 14 points.

Minster improves to 9-4 and 2-2 in the MAC and Marion Local slips to 2-9 for the year and 1-3 in conference play.

Versailles 44,

St. Henry 32

VERSAILLES — St. Henry’s Riley Link had nine points and Ben Evers and Andrew Lange had sx points each.

Versailles goes to 5-0 in the MAC and 14-0 for the season. St. Henry dips to 7-6 for the year and 2-2 in the MAC.

Ft. Jennings 36

CONTINENTAL — Continental’s Mitchell Coleman scored 23 points and Gavin Huff chipped in 12 points. Rhenn Armey added 11 points. For Ft. Jennings, Cody Horstman and Zach Schulte each had 11 points.

Continental improves to 4-11 and 1-2 in the Putnam County League and Fort Jennings falls to 1-12 for the season and 0-3 in the PCL.

1,000 points

FORT JENNINGS — Kristen Luersman reached 1,000 points for her varsity career for the host Musketeers (2-4, 1-3 Putnam County League) in their 62-47 loss to Continental on Thursday night. Luersman had 19 points on the evening. Teammate Jessie Foust scored 12. Kerri Prowant had 20 points and Alex Hoeffel, Catelyn Etter and Madelyn Potts each scored 10 for the Pirates (7-7, 1-3 PCL).

Pioneer Classic

LIMA — Temple Christian’s Pioneer Classic will be held Monday with the boys competing at Westgate Entertainment Center and the girls at 20th Century Lanes. Games are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at both locations.

Area teams scheduled to play include Wapakoneta, Shawnee, Coldwater, Elida, St. Henry boys, Lima Senior, St. Marys, Minster boys, Perry boys, Lincolnview, Celina, Bath and Temple Christian boys. Admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens. Those 4 years old and younger will get in for free.
