Van Wert: The Elam Ending for fifth and sixth grade boys and girls teams will be held Feb. 19-20 at Van Wert High School/Middle School. Teams are guaranteed three games and awards go to the top two. Individual medals will be presented to any player making an Elam Ending Shot. They will also have their picture taken and entered into the Elam Enders Hall of Fame. Registration fee is $150. Delphos: The ninth annual Wildcat Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Tournament for girls teams will be held Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6, at Jefferson Schools. There will be separate divisions for each grade level. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. Entry fee for this event is $150. Continental: The Blue and Gold Classic boys and girls fifth and sixth grade tournament is scheduled March 5-6 for the girls and March 12-13 for the boys at Continental High School. Delphos: The 17th annual Wildcat Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Tournament for boys teams will be held from Friday, March 11, to Sunday, March 13, at Jefferson Schools. Lima: The Family YMCA at 345 S. Elizabeth St. will be holding a Presidents Day out of school activities event for youngsters from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21. Those attending will be able to participate in gym games, crafts and swimming and should bring a swimsuit, towel and packed lunch. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for others. Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. Van Wert: Paul Keels, the play-by-play voice of Ohio State football and men’s basketball on the Buckeyes radio network the last 24 years, will speak at The Niswonger Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10.

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: WAR Wrestling returns Saturday, Feb. 19, to Empowered Sports Center (formerly Northland Lanes) at 1730 N. Union St. Advance tickets are $18 for VIP, general admission for $12 or four for $40 and bleachers for $7. At the door, tickets will be $18 for VIP and $12 for general admission and bleachers. VIP doors open at 5:30 p.m., general doors open at 6:30 p.m. and wrestling is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tickets available online at warwrestling.com or in at Groamy’s, 1206 W.
