ARCHERY

Allen County: The Allen County Archers hold 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday of each month through September. It is open to all equipment. They are also holding traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long. They are open to all archery equipment. The Archers will be holding a “stump shoot” for traditional bows only the fourth Saturday of each month starting April 24. BASEBALL

Lima: Registration is underway for bus trips to Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds home games. The Indians home game will be against the Reds at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, May 8, and the Reds home game against Detroit is at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. The cost of the Indians game is $80 and $75 for the Reds game. Each trip includes a game ticket, round trip transportation, sandwiches and snacks. All beverages will be $1.50. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Busses will depart from Ottawa Eagles #2234 and Lima Eastgate Super Wal-Mart. For more information, contact Mike Melvin at 419-303-9280.

Delphos: The 11th annual Nathan Miller Memorial Tournament will be June 4, 5 and 6 at the Delphos Stadium Park. The tournament is a 16-20 team tournament for boys 11-12 years old (age cutoff is March 1). The tournament will be pool play with a three-game guarantee. Players must be from the same school district. Cost is $200 with a $50 non refundable entry fee. Deadline to enter is May 8. For more information contact Sam Miller at 567-825-8631).

EXERCISE CLASSES

Lima: Those who have stiffness and chronic pain keeping them from enjoying everyday activities may want to enlist the MELT Method, which can even enhance athletic performance by preventing injury and enhancing post-workout recovery. MELT is a simple self-treatment technique that can be done at home to get out of and stay out of chronic pain in as little as 10 minutes a day. The four-week MELT hand/foot session held at 2 p.m. Tuesdays started April 6 and the four-week MELT roller session at 2 p.m. Thursdays began April 8 at the Lima Family YMCA (345 S. Elizabeth St.). HORSEBACK RIDING

HORSESHOES

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. LIFEGUARDING

Lima: The Family YMCA is offering American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification classes. The certification class consists of classroom learning time and pool sessions for skill development. All of the water and safety skills are practiced and reviewed in the classroom and in the pool. At the end of the program, participants complete a written exam and a practical skills exam to complete their Red Cross Lifeguarding certification. After completing lifeguard training, certification will be valid for two years. To participate in the program, participants must complete a swimming pre-screen ability test, and all participants must be at least 15 years old before the last day of the course. Class 2 will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from May 3-20 with the CPR & First Aid class from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15. PICKLEBALL

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (appointment only). Free for YMCA members and $3 per visit for nonmembers or $20 per month for nonmembers (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at limaymca.net. Call 419-223-6045 for more information.

TRAPSHOOTING

Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
