LIMA SENIOR — The Lima Senior girls won the team title Saturday at the Spartan Invitational.

The hosts finished with 166 points with St. Ursula (114) finishing second and Perry (13) ninth.

The 3,200 relay team of Hailey Hahn, Deji’Ona Shurelds Simpson, Honesty Baker and Kaytlynne Hile, the 800 relay team of Isis Love, Aliah Bolden, Coryasia Owens and Lynnae Wheeler, the 400 relay team of Emalea Collins, Bolden, Love and Wheeler and the 1,600 relay team of Love, Shurelds Simpson, Owens and Bolden finished first for Lima Senior as did Jaeanna Hughes (100 and 200), Shurelds Simpson (400) and Baker (800) in individual events.

The Lima Senior boys (123 points) finished second behind St. Francis (200) with Perry (71) ending up fifth.

The Spartans’ Jourdyn Rawlins won the 100, 200, long jump and triple jump and teammate Lavail Branch was first in the high jump.

Perry’s Brady Yingst (800, 1,600 and 3,200) and James Shorter (300 hurdles) won individual events.

Versailles Invitational

VERSAILLES — Crestview’s Jordan Updegrove won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles and teammate Dayton Schuerman was first in the 1,600.

Baseball

Elida 12, Kalida 2

KALIDA — Winning pitcher Brayden Lybarger allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out nine in five innings. He also had four hits, including a double, and four RBI. Noah Bowman had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Dylan Marston had a hit and two RBI also for Elida. Brandon Miller, Colin Hoffman, Gabe Roof and Jaden Smith each had a hit for Kalida.

St. Marys 9, Minster 2

MINSTER — Dylan Trogdlon had three hits, including a double, and four RBI and Braedan Trogdlon had two hits and an RBI, Logan Hale had 1 hit and two RBI and teammate Aidan Eigenbrod had three hits. Winning pitcher Braedan Trogdlon and Cole Koenig combined to allow one earned run, three hits and six walks while striking out five in seven innings. Zach Fortman doubled for Minster.

Columbus Grove 13,

Cory-Rawson 4

RAWSON — Noah Macke had a pair of doubles and four RBI and Landen Schroeder had two doubles for Grove. Blake Boehm had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Leo Miracle had two hits and an RBI for C-R.

Parkway 6, Jefferson 0

DELPHOS — Winning pitcher Dylan Hughes allowed five hits and three walks while striking out 12 in throwing a complete game. Justan Felver and Aiden Anderson each had two hits and two RBI. Tanner Vorhees had two hits for Delphos Jefferson.

St. Henry 2, Wapakoneta 1

WAPAKONETA — Winning pitcher Ryan Uhlenhake and Nolan Schmitz combined to allow eight hits and four walks while striking out 11 in seven innings. Seth Heitkamp had two hits for St. Henry. Cooper Talowsky had three hits, including a double, for Wapak.

Leipsic 12, Holgate 7

LEIPSIC — Trey Schroeder had four hits and four RBI, Mason Brandt had three hits and five RBI, Blake Liffick had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Tyler Sickmiller had two hits, including a double, and an RBI for Leipsic.

Allen East 14, Ayersville 3

HARROD — Nate Ketchum had two hits and an RBI, Bradden Crumrine doubled and had an RBI and Braylen Kennedy had a hit and an RBI for Allen East.

Ottawa-Glandorf 13,

Paulding 0

PAULDING — Winning pitcher Nate Maag, Wes Davidson and Jake Balbaugh combined to allow four hits and three walks while striking out eight in six innings.

Davidson had four hits, including a home run and a double, and three RBI, Jacob Balbaugh had two hits and two RBI and Jaxon Buddelmeyer had a home run and three RBI. Hunter Kauser, Payton Beckman, Ethan Foltz and Deyton Price each had a hit for Paulding.

Jackson Center 10,

New Knoxville 0

JACKSON CENTER — Ryan Osborne, Patrick Covert and Brandon Smith each had a hit for New Knoxville.

DOLA — Kaiden Sedlock and Wesley Newton each had a hit for Hardin Northern.

MARIA STEIN — Hayden Wibbeler had a hit and two RBI for Marion Local.

Coldwater 17, Genoa 4

COLDWATER — Myles Blasingame had three hits, including a double, and four RBI and Reece Dellinger had three hits for Coldwater. Dellinger, who recorded the win, and Zack McKibben combined to allow no hits in five innings.

New Bremen splits DH

NEW BREMEN — New Bremen won 3-0 and lost 7-3 to Russia.

Ben Blickle allowed one run and six walks while striking out three in earning the complete game victory in the 3-0 encounter. He also had a hit and two RBI and Sam Sailer had a double and an RBI. In the 7-3 game, Blickle had three hits and an RBI and teammate Mitchell Hays had two doubles and an RBI.

Van Wert goes 1-1

VAN WERT — The Cougars lost 13-9 and then won 25-22 against Bryan.

In the 13-9 encounter, TJ Stoller had three hits and four RBI and Ries Wise had a hit and two RBI for Van Wert.

In the 25-22 game, Jacob Place had three hits and an RBI, Turner Witten had a double and three RBI, Ethan Rupert had four hits and two RBI, Stoller had four hits and an RBI, Aiden Pratt had four hits and four RBI and Kaiden Bates had three hits and three RBI for the Cougars.

Softball

Leipsic 5, Holgate 0

LEIPSIC — Jocelyn Hermiller allowed one hit and three walks while striking out 14 in seven innings.

Catherine Essinger had two hits and an RBI and Caitlen Flick and Marisa Hermiller each had a hit and an RBI.

Bath 14, Fort Recovery 3

FORT RECOVERY — Rachel Clark had three hits, including a double, and four RBI, Chandler Clark had three hits, Elena Oliver had three hits, including two triples, and three RBI, Ruby Bolon had two doubles and three RBI and Esther Bolon had two hits and two RBI for Bath. Chloey Grisez and Maddie Guggenbiller each had a hit and an RBI for Fort Recovery.

St. Marys win 2

BLUFFTON — St. Marys defeated Bluffton 2-1 and 9-5.

In the 2-1 encounter, winning pitcher Karsyn McGlothen had three hits, including a double and a home run, and an RBI and teammate Emma Birt had a pair of hits. Ashley Fleece had a hit and an RBI for Bluffton.

In the 9-5 game, Lily Steinberg had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Renee Sweigart had two hits and two RBI for St. Marys. Dyllan Worcester had two hits, including a double, and an RBI and Addie Businger had a hit and two RBI for Bluffton.

Crestview quad

CONVOY — Crestview defeated Shawnee 10-6 and New Bremen 16-6.

Against Shawnee, Raegan Hammons had two hits and three RBI and Bailey Gregory had two doubles and an RBI. Shalon McNeal had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Allie Hutchins had a double and two RBI for Shawnee.

Against New Bremen, Hammons had three hits and an RBI, Brenna Grace had two hits and two RBI and Katelyn Castle had a double and two RBI. Kyla Stachler had three hits and an RBI and Allison Hays had a double and three RBI for New Bremen.

Shawnee also defeated Spencerville 21-5. McNeal had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI, Kaylee Grant had three hits, including two home runs, and five RBI, Kayla Bishop had two hits and an RBI, Haylee Wurm had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Autumn Steele had two hits and two RBI for Shawnee. Grace Botorac had three hits and two RBI and Krista Market had two hits for Spencerville.

Ridgemont sweeps

MOUNT VICTORY — Ridgemont defeated Vanlue 16-9 and 16-2.

In the 16-9 win, Nikki Freshcorn had a home run, two doubles and five RBI, Hannah Shoffner had three hits, including a double, and an RBI, Emma Smith had two hits and a three RBI and Haylee Howard had a home run and three RBI.

In the 16-2 victory, winning pitcher Howard allowed one hit and no earned runs or walks while striking out three in six innings. Brooke Nelson had three hits, Smith had two doubles and two RBI, Freshcorn had two hits, including a double, and an RBI, Amanda Howland had two hits and two RBI and Whitney Bailey had a double and two RBI.

Jefferson drops 2

ANNA — Delphos Jefferson fell 12-2 and 13-2 to Anna.

In the 12-2 encounter, Noel Warnament tripled.

In the 13-2 game, Warnament had a hit and two RBI for Jefferson.

PAULDING — Alivya Bakle had three hits, including a homre run and double, and seven RBI and Leigha Egnor had three hits, including a double and triple, and four RBI for Paulding. Evey Bennett had two hits for O-G.

LIMA — The 20th ranked University of Northwestern Ohio advanced to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference semifinals. Karabo Dhlamini each had a goal and an assist and Hedda Isaksson also had a tally. Sabrina Fricke had three saves to earn the shutout in goal.
