Delphos Jefferson 9, Kalida 6

DELPHOS — Delphos Jefferson’s Collin Bailey went 3 for 4 and Tanner Vorhees was 2 for 2. Delphos pitcher Braylon Scalf picked up the win after going five innings, scattering five hits, giving up four runs and striking out five.

Bath 13, Lima Central Catholic 3

Bath’s Lex Boedicker had three hits, drove in a run and scored an run and Cade Price had two hits and drove in two runs. Brennan Coleman had one hit and scored twice. Austin Williams drive in three. Boedicker picked up the win f0r the Wildcats going five innings, giving up four hits and three runs while fanning six and walking one.

For LCC, Quintel Peoples had two hits and one RBI.

Wapakoneta 13, Delphos St. John’s 3

DELPHOS — Wapakoneta’s Braden Goulet had two hits, including a home run and notched two RBI and Austin West drove in four runs. Grant Bauer also drove in two runs. Redskin hurler Brandon Schneider pitched two innings and gave up four hits and two runs and struck out four. Ryan Camper came in relief and pitched three innings.

St. Marys 4, Parkway 3

ROCKFORD — St. Marys’ Dylan Trogdlon had two hits and one RBI and Ty Kiehl and Logan Hale each had two hits. Parkway’s Brock Beltzell had two RBI.

Kiehl went six innings and struck out three. Parkway’s Dylan Hughes went seven and one-third innings and fanned six. Hale picked up the win in relief, going one inning and fanning two.

Shawnee 7, Paulding 1

Shawnee’s Logan Maxwell lashed out four hits and drove in three runs and Tyler Windau added two hits. Sage Ebling drove in two runs and Derek Lyons recorded an RBI. On the mound Jarin Bertke pitched three innings and fanned four and Caden Vermillion hurled three innings and struck out three.

Elida 15, Fort Jennings 0

Elida’s Hayes Burton pitched a five-inning no hitter. The Bulldog hurler struck out four and walked three. Gunnar King had two hits, scored four times and drove in two runs and Brice Engle lashed out two hits and scored twice. Brayden Lybarger notched three RBI.

Van Wert 16, Spencerville 2

VAN WERT —Van Wert’s T.J. Stoller recorded two hits, scored two runs and drive in two runs and Owen Treece also drove in two runs and scored twice. Turner Witten went 2 for 2 with two RBI and a run scored and Ethan Rupert was 1 for 1 with with two RBI and two runs scored. Rupert recorded the win, going four innings and giving up three hits and two runs while striking out five. Carson Smith pitched an inning and struck out two.

Miller City 7, Patrick Henry 5.

MILLER CITY — Miller City;s Austin Ruhe went 4 for 4 with a double and scored a run and Joe Deitring went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI. Caleb Warnimont had two singles and Dillon Peck had a double.

Miller City’s T.J. Michel picked up the win after going five innings, giving up nine hits, four runs and two walks while striking out six.

Miller City improves to 3-0.

Allen East 10, Marion Local 0

HARROD — Allen East pitchers’ Jordan Motter and Carter Frey combined for a three-hit shutout. Motter gave up two hits and struck out eight in six innings of work and Frey struck out two in one inning. Motter also had a double and drove in two runs and Braylen Kennedy and Bradden Crumrine each had two RBI.

Ada 10, Hardin Northern 9

DOLA — Ada’s Jacob Morgan went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and one RBI and Jacob Poling was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBI. Levi Sousley scored three runs. For Hardin Northern, Owen Wetherill was 2 for 2 with two runs scored and 1 RBI.

Cory—Rawson 15, Upper Scioto Valley 4

MCGUFFEY — Cory-Rawson’s Matthew White fired a four-hitter in five innings of work. He fanned three and walked four. for the Hornets, Hunter Foust was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI and Zeke Elliott and Cohen Smith each drove in two runs. Rams’ Connor Sanders, Dan Dunifon and Blaine Castle all drove in runs.

McComb 19, Bluffton 3

MCCOMB — Bluffton’s Kerry Wright and Adam Fredritz had hits.

Softball

Bath 11, Lima Central Catholic 5

Bath’s Sami Klingler went 2 for 2 with 3 RBI and Rachel Clark had two hits including a triple. LCC’s Kennedy Parker had a grand slam and Jaylen Roehm was the losing pitcher but hit a home run. Thunderbirds’ Sophia Luchini had two hits. Bath’s Dylan Grisgby picked up the win after striking out 10.

Findlay 14, Shawnee 13

FINDLAY — Shawnee’s Kaylee Grant went 5 for 5 with a home run and drove in five and scored four runs scred and Carmi Winegardner and Kayla Bishop each had three hits. Allison Hutchins drove in two runs and Haylee Wurm had two hits and two RBI.

Marion Local 6, Allen East 2

HARROD — Marion Local’s Allison Dircksen and Aliyah Arling each had two hits and both drove in runs. Flyer Amy Tangeman drove in two runs. Flyer pitcher Ashlyn Bohman went six innings and struck out 10.

Upper Scioto Valley 38, Cory-Rawson 17

MT. CORY — Upper Scioty Valley’s Emma Hunsicker went 3 for 5 and drove in six runs and Patiance Cole also had 6 RBI after going 4 for 7, Graeson Evans went 4 for6 with 3 RBI and seven runs scored and Caitlyn Cunningham lashed out three hits and drove in five. Brielle Cotterman was four for five with three RBI and Allison Moore had 3 RBI after going 3 for 5.

McComb 12, Bluffton 1

McCOMB — Bluffton’s Lauren Swartzlander hit a double and recorded an RBI. Other Pirates getting hits were Ashley Fleece, Kennedy Jordan, Dyllan Worcester and Lauren Rhodes.

Wayne Trace 23, Ottoville 0

OTTOVILLE — Ottoville’s Hannah Wezlick had a double and Hannah Brinkman had a single. For Wayne Trace, Macy Doster had a double and two RBI and Tiffany Sinn had a three hits including a home run and two RBI. Alivia Miller had three hits with three runs scored and four RBI.

Ada 15, Hardin Northern 5

DOLA — Ada’s Leona Dalton had two home runs and on the mound she strick out six.

Ansonia 10, Fort Recovery 2

ANSONIA — Fort Recovery’s Kensey Gaerke and Brenna Homan each had two hits

Boys tennis

Lima Central Catholic 5, Elida 0

Lima Central Catholic got singles wins from Enricco Pattalia, Aaron Simmons and Brady Koenig and doubles wins from the duo of Allie Braglia and Hayden Bader and the twosome of Drew Hubbard and Brayden Hubbard.

Findlay 4, Shawnee 1

FINDLAY — Shawnee’s Mason Stahl picked up the lone win for the Indians in second singles.

Girls

Kenton 100, Ridgedale 35, Perry 15

Winners for Kenton were Abby Modd (100m, 300m hurdles), Abi Temple (100m,200m, 400m), Sammi Unger (1600m, 3200m), Bethany Cameron (800m),Delaney Buxton, Avery Smith (pole vault), Tatum Miller (shot put, discus), Kenton won the 3200, 800, and 1600 meter relays. Perry’s Mary Hoersten won the long jump.

Boys

Kenton 97, Perry 38, Ridgedale 19

Finishing first for Kenton were Jayden Cornell (100, long jump), Keegan Wright (800m), Isaac Oreglia (3200), Andrew Fox (shot put) and Gunnar Stout (discus). Kenton won the 3,200, 800 and 400 meter relays. Perry got first place finishes from James Shorter (110m, 300m hurdles), Braden Yingst (1600m), Isaiah Cox (200m) and the Commodores took top honors in the 800 meter relay.
