Roundup: Leis, Gregory receive top NWC girls hoops honors

Spencerville’s Emma Leis (player of the year) and Crestview’s Mark Gregory (coach of the year) received all-Northwest Conference girls basketball honors.

Joining Leis on the first team were Kenzie King (Columbus Grove), Cali Gregory (Crestview), Alyvia Lindeman (Delphos Jefferson), Olivia Cunningham (Crestview) and Janae Pease (Paulding)

Girls Bowling

All-MAC

Coldwater’s Jasmine Schulze (bowler of the year) and Rick Hartings (coach of the year) received top Midwest Athletic Conference honors.

Joining Schulze on the first team were Julie Bertke (Coldwater), Ryleigh Brown (Coldwater), Alison Fox (Coldwater), Abigail Lauber (Fort Recovery), Mara Blanke (Minster) and Mallory York (Versailles)

Boys Bowling

All-MAC

Coldwater’s Keaton Bruns (bowler of the year) and Rick Hartings (coach of the year) received top MAC honors.

Joining Bruns on the first team were Hayden Beougher (Coldwater), Brandon Hammons (Coldwater), Nick Alig (New Bremen), Maverick Nelson (New Bremen), Ben Rindler (St. Henry), Sam Bensmen (Versailles) and Landon Henry (Versailles).

Boys basketball

Games get

rescheduled

Some area high school boys basketball games postponed Tuesday have been rescheduled.

Upper Scioto Valley at Carey JV and varsity games are scheduled to start with a two quarter junior varsity game at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Other games moved to Wednesday include Lima Senior at St. Francis and Bluffton at Van Buren.

Diving

District schedule

gets changed

BOWLING GREEN — The Division I and II district diving schedule at Bowling Green State University has changed.

The girls D-I event will be held beginning at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday followed by the girls D-II at 2:10 p.m. The boys D-II is scheduled to start at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday and the boys D-II is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. Thursday.

KENTON — The Ada and Riverdale at Kenton tri-match has been moved to Thursday.
