Van Wert is 6-9, 3-3 in the WBL. Shawnee is 10-7, 3-4.
Kyra Welch scored 13 and Jaylyn Rickard had 10 for the Cougars.
Grace Freiberger scored 19 for the Indians. Zoe Best had 17 and Hailee Conrad added 10.
Lima Central Catholic 53, Perry 24
PERRY TOWNSHIP – Olivia Stolly fired in 21 points to guide Lima Central Catholic past Perry in a non-league game at Perry.
Stolly knocked down three 3-pointers.
Sophia Luchini scored 10 for the T-Birds.
Zierre Thompson led Perry with eight points.
LCC led 11-2 after the first quarter and 25-10 at the half.
Spencerville 76, Ada 40
SPENCERVILLE – Spencerville pulled away from Ada in a Northwest Conference game at Spencerville.
Spencerville is 13-7, 5-2 in the NWC. Ada is 4-13, 1-6.
Emma Leis led the Bearcats with 21 points. Gabi Croft scored 12.
Courtney Somner had 23 points for Ada.
Bluffton 50, Allen East 37
BLUFFTON – Bluffton defeated Allen East in a Northwest Conference game at Bluffton.
Bluffton is 11-9, 4-4 in the NWC. Allen East is 4-14, 0-7.
Jasmine Hasting led Bluffton with 11 points. Morgan Fruchey and Laykin Garmatter both scored eight.
Kennedy Truex scored 14 for the Mustangs. Savana Brooks had 13.
Bluffton led 24-22 at the half and 34-26 after three.
Crestview 55, Lincolnview 40
MIDDLE POINT – Crestview’s Olivia Cunningham tossed in 28 points to help the Knights Knock off Lincolnview in a Northwest Conference game at Lincolnview.
Crestview is 15-3, 6-1 in the NWC. Lincolnview is 7-13, 1-6.
Cunningham hit 12 of 17 from the field and was 2 of 4 on 3-pointers. She also had five rebounds.
Laci McCoy had 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Crestview. Cali Gregory had seven assists and five points.
Zadria King had 10 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Lancers. Kendall Bollenbacher scored nine with four rebounds.
Crestview led 25-19 at the half.

CELINA – Celina held on for a victory over Wapakoneta at Celina.
Wapak is 6-12, 2-6 in the Western Buckeye League. Celina is 2-16, 1-7.

ROCKFORD – Coldwater knocked off Parkway in a Midwest Athletic Conference game at Parkway.

NEW KNOXVILLE – New Knoxville knocked off St. Henry in a Midwest Athletic Conference game at New Knoxville.

VERSAILLES – Delphos St. John’s Paige Gaynier tossed in 30 points to power the Blue Jays past Versailles at Versailles.
St. John’s is 9-7, 3-4 in the Midwest Athletic Conference. Versailles is 6-13, 2-7.
Gaynier hit four 3-pointers and was 10 of 10 at the foul line.
Melanie Koenig scored nine for the Blue Jays.
Abby Stammen scored eight for Versailles.

MINSTER – Minster ran away from Fort Recovery to clinch the outright Midwest Athletic Conference championship at Minster.
Minster is 17-1, 8-0 in the MAC. Fort Recovery is 13-5, 6-3.
Ivy Wolf scored 20 for Minster. Ella Mescher scored 12. Janae Hoying had nine.
Minster led 35-14 at the half.

MARIA STEIN – Marion Local won a Midwest Athletic Conference game over New Bremen at Marion Local.

BENTON RIDGE – Liberty-Benton clinched the Blanchard Valley Conference title with a win over Leipsic.

RAWSON – Cory-Rawson’s Zoe Chisholm scored 19 points to spark the Hornets over Pandora-Gilboa.
Makayla Gillfillan scored 14. Libby McVetta had 12. Mackenzie Cascaden scored 10.
Lacie Fenstermaker paced the Rockets with 18 points and 18 rebounds. She also had four steals.
The Hornets led 33-17 at the half.
Ridgemont 53, Waynesfield-Goshen 39
WAYNESFIELD – Ridgemont clinched at least a share of the Northwest Central Conference title with a win over Waynesfield-Goshen.
Ridgemont is 9-8, 6-1 in the NWCC. Waynesfield is 7-12, 4-3.
Hannah Shoffner paced the Gophers with 14 points. Brooke Nelson and Callie Cromer both scored 12.
Rylie Barrington led Waynesfield with 10 points. Jordan Elliott scored nine.
Hardin Northern 43, Elgin 21
DOLA – Hardin Northern posted a win over Elgin at Hardin Northern.
Hardin Northern is 6-11, 2-5 in the Northwest Central Conference. Elgin is 1-12, 1-5.
Maddie Grappy paced Hardin Northern with 19 points and two 3-pointers. Emma Martin scored 11.
Hardin Northern won the boards, 34-27. Hardin Northern had 11 turnovers, while Elgin had 17.

CONTINENTAL – Continental posted a Putnam County League win over Fort Jennings at Continental.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP – Shawnee knocked off Kenton at Shawnee.
Shawnee match winners were the following: Kayne Brown (106, fall); Cory Beach (132, fall); Ethan Scurlock (145, fall); Champ Keysor (220, fall); and Alton Clayton (285, fall).

KENTON – Ottawa-Glandorf notched a victory over Kenton at Kenton’s Hillcrest Lanes.
O-G is 8-6, 4-5 in the Western Buckeye League.
O-G’s Sam Kelley rolled a 343 (157-186) and Justin Yaeger had a 342 (172-170). Brandt Utrup fired a 326 (175-151).
For Kenton, Devin Hastings rolled a 388 (175-213). Stone Sanber had a 362 (171-191). Spencer Anglemeyer rolled a 283 (129-154).
D-III winter championships canceled
ADA — The NCAA has announced that it will be canceling all of its Division III winter championships events for the 2020-21 academic year.
In its release, the NCAA cited low participation numbers for its member schools as the reason for the cancellation of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s indoor track and field, men’s and women’s ice hockey, and wrestling championships events.
The Ohio Athletic Conference is still planning on hosting its regularly scheduled championship events for the winter sports.
Five from ONU make rankings
ADA — Five Ohio Northern wrestlers are ranked in the first National Wrestling Coaches Association poll.
Sophomore Chase Sumner, an Ada graduate, is ranked No. 7 at 149 pounds with a team-leading 3-0 record this season.
Four other Polar Bears, sophomore Camden Spears (133), junior Schuyler Caprella (157), an Allen East grad, junior Jordan Hardrick (165) and senior Cash Thompson (197) are listed in the “Contender” category as being ranked in the 11-18 group.
Ohio Northern will wrap up its COVID-abbreviated 2021 season Sunday in a quad meet with Muskingum, Otterbein and Wilmington at the ONU Sports Center Fieldhouse.
