WAPAKONETA — Bath moved to 7-0 in the Western Buckeye League with a 41-24 girls basketball victory Thursday night against Wapakoneta.
The Wildkittens, who stand atop the WBL, are 17-2 overall. Wapak is 5-10, 2-5 in the WBL.
Chandler Clark had nine points, three rebounds and five assists for Bath.
Ruby Bolon had nine points. Elena Oliver had eight points and six rebounds. Esther Bolon had eight points and five rebounds.
Casey Minnig scored 11 for Wapak. Elisabeth Good scored eight.
Bath led 18-10 at the half and 28-14 after three.
St. Marys 43, Elida 33
ELIDA – St. Marys got out to a huge lead and knocked off Elida in a Western Buckeye League game at the Elida Fieldhouse.
St. Marys is 14-4, 6-1 in the WBL. Elida is 7-9, 2-5.
Kendall Dieringer led The Roughriders with 12 points.
Brooke Reese led Elida with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Amira Freeman scored 10.
St. Marys led 16-1 after the first quarter and 26-8 at the half.
Kalida 64, Fort Jennings 24
FORT JENNINGS – Kalida cruised home with a victory over Fort Jennings in a Putnam County League game at Fort Jennings.
Kalida led 15-4 after one quarter and 31-8 at the half.
Kalida is 11-5, 3-1 in the PCL. Fort Jennings is 1-15, 1-4 in the PCL.
Grace Klausing led Kalida with 18 points and hit 3 of 5 on 3-pointers. She also had seven rebounds.
Kalida’s Mya Schmitz had 11 points. Camille Hovest had five points and 12 rebounds.
Brenna Smith and Brooke Erhart both had eight points.
Reilly Fitzpatrick led the Musketeers with eight points. Jessie Foust scored seven.

NEW KNOXVILLE – New Knoxville notched a win over Parkway at New Knoxville.
New Knoxville is 14-3, 4-2 in the Midwest Athletic Conference. Parkway is 8-8, 1-5 in the MAC.
The Rangers led 12-8 after the first quarter and 34-25 after three.
Spencerville 55, Allen East 30
SPENCERVILLE – Spencerville sprinted past Allen East in a Northwest Conference game at Spencerville.
The Bearcats are 11-6, 4-2 in the NWC. Allen East is 3-13, 0-6.
Delphos Jefferson 49, Lincolnview 43
MIDDLE POINT – Delphos Jefferson knocked off Lincolnview in a Northwest Conference game at Lincolnview.
Jefferson is 15-4, 5-1 in the NWC. 6-12, 1-5.
Aly Lindeman and Lyv Lindeman both scored 14 for Jefferson. Lauren French scored 10 and had 12 rebounds. Josie McGue had eight.
Annie Mendenhall and Kendall Bollenbacher both scored nine for the Lancers.
Jefferson led 25-21 at the half.
Columbus Grove 41, Bluffton 18
COLUMBUS GROVE – Columbus Grove held Bluffton scoreless in the middle two quarters en route to a victory over the Pirates at Columbus Grove.
The Bulldogs led 8-3 after one quarter, then outscored Bluffton 26-0 in the second and third quarters. That gave Grove a 34-3 lead after three.
Columbus Grove is 12-6, 4-2 in the Northwest Conference. Bluffton is 10-9, 3-4 in the NWC.
Jaylen Sautter led the Bulldogs with 11 points. Kenzie King had eight points and seven assists.
Grove’s Erin Downing had six points, eight rebounds and five steals.
Grove won the boards, 27-21.
Kylie Monday had six points for Bluffton.
Paulding 57, Ada 45
PAULDING – Paulding knocked off Ada in a Northwest Conference game at Paulding.
Paulding is 14-5, 5-2 in the NWC. Ada is 4-12, 1-5.
Janae Pease paced Paulding with 17 points. Leigha Egnor and Jalynn Parrett both scored 10.
Courtney Sumner and Miranda Wills both scored 13 for Ada.
Paulding led 30-20 at the half.

CONVOY – Crestview got an early lead and went on to knock off Lima Central Catholic in a non-league game at Crestview.
Crestview is 12-3.

VANLUE – Cory-Rawson’s defense held Vanlue under 20 points in a Blanchard Valley Conference win at Vanlue.

LEIPSIC – Leipsic registered a Blanchard Valley Conference win over Van Buren at Leipsic.

MARIA STEIN – Marion Local notched an overtime win over Delphos St. John’s in a Midwest Athletic Conference game at Marion Local.
St. John’s Paige Gaynier led all scorers with 28 points and knocked down seven 3-pointers.
Elly Wrasman scored nine for the Blue Jays.
Alana Pohlman led the Flyers with 16 points. Heidi Rethman scored 15. Molly Winner scored 14.
The game was tied at 48 at the end of regulation.

Western Buckeye League Championships
DEFIANCE – Defiance’s Addi Fleischman and Celina’s Holden Cubberly won the diving titles at the WBL swimming and diving championships Thursday at the Defiance YMCA.
It was Fleischman’s fourth WBL diving championship.
Fleischman finished with a score of 387.85. Defiance’s Lilly Lacey was second with a score of 368.35.
Defiance’s Ellia Fleischman was third with 321.90 points.
Defiance earned the top four spots on the girls side.
For the boys, Cubberly finished with a score of 425.25.
St. Marys took second and third place, with Kameron MacLean taking second with a score of 376.45. Xander Spees was third with a score of 260.15.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP – Shawnee posted a Western Buckeye League match win over Ottawa-Glandorf at Shawnee.
