BLUFFTON – Spencerville’s Emma Leis went over 1,000 career points and her Bearcats knocked off Bluffton 50-39 in a girls basketball game Thursday at Bluffton.
Leis finished the night with 13 points.
Gillian Goecke paced the Bearcats’ offense with 20 points.
Bluffton was led by Sami Scoles’ 14 points. Laykin Garmatter scored eight.
Spencerville is 9-5, 3-2 in the Northwest Conference. Bluffton is 10-7, 3-3 in the NWC.
Bluffton led 7-5 after the first quarter and 21-15 at the half. Bluffton led 33-30 after three.
Spencerville outscored Bluffton 20-6 in the final quarter to notch the win.

DELPHOS – Delphos Jefferson edged Paulding in a key Northwest Conference at Delphos.

BATH TOWNSHIP – Bath stayed atop the Western Buckeye League with a victory over Defiance at Bath.
Bath is 15-2, 6-0 in the WBL. Defiance is 2-12, 1-5 in the WBL.
Chandler Clark led the Wildkittens with 19 points and four rebounds.
Esther Bolton had 13 points, six rebounds and five assists. Bolon hit 3 of 7 on 3-pointers.
Lexi Renner added 10 points and five assists.
Elena Oliver scored 10 with nine rebounds for Bath.

ST. MARYS – St. Marys knocked off Kenton for a Western Buckeye League win at St. Marys.
Kendall Dieringer led St. Marys with 19 points Kiley Tennant scored nine.
Jenna Manns scored 13 with three 3-pointers for Kenton. Lindsey Smith scored 11.

OTTAWA – Ottawa-Glandorf cruised past Celina for a Western Buckeye League win at Hermiller Gymnasium.
Chloee Glenn led the Titans with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

FORT JENNINGS – Ottoville cruised to a Putnam County League victory over Fort Jennings at Fort Jennings.

RAWSON – Leipsic notched a Blanchard Valley Conference win over Cory-Rawson at Rawson.
Whitney Langhals led the Vikings with 19 points. Liz Scheckelhoff scored 12.
Paige McVetta had 11 points for the Hornets. Zoe Chisholm scored 10.
Cory-Rawson is 10-6, 4-3 in the BVC.

SIDNEY – Lehman Catholic used a big second quarter to notch a victory over Hardin Northern.
Lehman Catholic outscored Hardin Northern 17-5 in the second quarter to take a 33-22 halftime lead.
Heidi Toner led Lehman Catholic with 22 points.
Eris McCoy led the Polar Bears with 12 points. Emma Martin scored eight.
Lehman Catholic won the boards, 25-21.
