Roundup: Perry edges Minster in boys basketball

PERRY TOWNSHIP — The Commodores outscored Minster 10-6 in the fourth quarter to earn a 42-40 boys high school basketball victory Tuesday night.

Perry (10-2) trailed 26-15 at halftime and then outscored the Wildcats (10-4) 17-8 in the third period. Jefferey Simpson had 11 points and Bubby Knight scored 10 for the Commodores. Brady Hoelscher (13), Justin Nixon (11) and Bryan Falk (10) each scored in double digits for Minster.

New Bremen 45, Kalida 41

NEW BREMEN — David Homan had 14 points and Reece Busse scored nine for the host Cardinals. Tyson Siefker and Luke Erhart each had 14 points for the Wildcats.

Girls basketball

Kalida 46, Ayersville 18

AYERSVILLE — The visiting Wildcats held a 27-10 lead at halftime. Grace Klausing had 25 points, six steals and six rebounds, Kathryn Siebeneck had 10 points and Brenna Smith had five assists and four steals for Kalida (9-4).

NEW KNOXVILLE — Morgan Leffel had 28 points and Haley Fledderjohann scored 10 for the Rangers (12-2). Kaytlynne Hile, Tiana Spivey and Cheyanne Bean each scored six for the Spartans (3-12).

MCGUFFEY — Zoe Chisholm had 16 points and Chelcie McVetta scored 12 for C-R. Allison Moore had 10 points for USV.

CELINA — Freiberger had 21 points, six assists and nine steals, Conrad had 10 points and five rebounds and Kelly Cooper had eight points and seven rebounds for Shawnee.

New Bremen 45, Anna 40

ANNA — Elli Roetgerman had 15 points and Kaylee Freund scored 12 for New Bremen.

Wayne Trace 50, Delphos Jefferson 46

DELPHOS — Josie McGue had 14 points and Aly Lindeman scored 11 for Jefferson.

Waynesfield-Goshen 46, Lehman Catholic 39

SIDNEY — Jordan Elliott had 18 points and Peyton Spencer scored 12 for W-G.

St. Marys 49, Marion Local 40

MARIA STEIN — Kendall Dieringer had 22 points and Noelle Ruane scored 12 for St. Marys.

Lincolnview 45, Parkway 38

ROCKFORD — Annie Mendenhall had 18 points for Lincolnview and Gabrielle Stober scored 18 for Parkway.

Miller City 56, Patrick Henry 41

HAMLER — Abi Lammers had 22 points and Natalie Koenig scored 17 for Miller City.

Vanlue 49, Hardin Northern 33

VANLUE — Eris McCoy and Bella Wilson each had eight points for Hardin Northern.
