Girls basketball: Fort Loramie defeats Ottawa-Glandorf

FORT LORAMIE — Top-ranked Division IV Fort Loramie held a 15-5 first-quarter advantage Saturday on its way to a 57-38 victory against D-III No. 3 Ottawa-Glandorf.

The hosts improved to 15-0 on the season as Corynn Heitkamp led the way, scoring 18 on six 3-pointers. Kenzie Hoelscher had 16 points and Dana Rose scored 10 also for Fort Loramie.

Kelsey Erford had 19 points and Myka Aldrich scored eight for O-G (11-2).

Arcadia 57, Hardin Northern 21

ARCADIA — Eris McCoy and Katie Good each had six points for Hardin Northern.

Arlington 34, Upper Scioto Valley 19

ARLINGTON — Allison Moore had six points and Graesan Evans scored four for USV (1-11).

Bluffton 56, Pandora-Gilboa 32

BLUFFTON — The host Pirates held a 20-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Laykin Garmatter (17), Sami Scoles (11) and Kylie Monday (10) each scored in double digits for Bluffton (9-5). Lacie Fenstermaker had 13 points and Makayla Kinsinger scored six for P-G (1-13).

Leipsic 49, Continental 34

CONTINENTAL — The Vikings bounced back after trailing 15-13 at the end of the first quarter. Whitney Langhals had 16 points and Elizabeth Scheckelhoff scored 13 for Leipsic (9-5, 3-2 Putnam County League).

Maddie Burke had 22 points and Catelyn Etter scored seven for Continental (4-10, o-3 PCL).

Cory-Rawson 59, Ada 51

RAWSON — C-R held a 31-21 halftime advantage and withstood being outscored 19-13 in the final period.

Zoe Chisholm had 21 points and MaKayla Gillfillan scored 17 for Cory-Rawson (9-5).

Courtney Sumner had 23 points and Olivia Burkhart and Miranda Wills each scored nine for Ada. (3-9).

New Bremen 48, Jackson Center 35

JACKSON CENTER — The visiting Cardinals pulled away after holding a 21-20 halftime lead. Elli Roetgerman had 17 points and Madison Cordonnier scored 12 for New Bremen (5-6).

Kalida 45, Elida 27

KALIDA — The hosts Wildcats held a 23-15 advantage at halftime. Grace Klausing had 13 points and Brooke Vennekotter scored 11 for Kalida (9-5). Addisyn Freeman had 12 points and Payton Kuhn scored seven for Elida (6-6).

Lima Senior 33

LIMA — Kaytlynne Hile and Tiana Spivey each had eight points and Cheyanne Bean scored seven and finished with 12 rebounds for the host Spartans (3-11).

Tri-Valley 57, Bath 46

BERLIN — The No. 4-ranked Wildkittens (13-2) fell in the Classic in the Country at Berlin Hiland.

Madelyn Renner had 16 points and Chandler Clark and Ruby Bolon each scored 11 for Bath.

Waynesfield Goshen 62,

Temple Christian 32

WAYNESFIELD — W-G held a 32-10 halftime lead. Jordan Elliott had 14 points and Maddie Flinn scored 10 for Waynesfield-Goshen. CeCe Worsham scored 15 for Temple Christian.
