COLUMBUS — Unbeaten Shawnee (10-0) is ranked No. 1 in the Division II Associated Press Ohio High School basketball poll released Monday.

The Indians, coming off a victory over Lima Central Catholic, will play Wapakoneta Friday night in a Western Buckeye League match up.

Speaking of the WBL, Ottawa-Glandorf is ranked third overall in Division III. The Titans are 8-1 and are coming off a non league win over Bluffton Saturday and will face Bath in a WBL clash Friday.

Putnam County is well represented in Division IV. Kalida is ranked No. 2 for the season and Columbus Grove comes in at No. 5. Ottoville is ranked eighth overall and Leipsic 12th.

Boys basketball

Ottoville 75, Delphos Jefferson 36

OTTOVILLE — Ottoville’s Josh Thorbahn scored 18 points. For Delphos Jefferson, Ian Wannamacher scored 13 points.

Waynesfield-Goshen 55, Temple Christian 31

WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield-Goshen’s Layton Campbell scored 19 points. Temple Christian’s Cody Motter scored 10 points and Preston Patrick scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds.

VAN WERT — Van Wert’s Lorrie Decker had the high series in round one with a 404. Other series scores were Hanna Say 332, Rayleigh Honieg 322, Makenna Nagel 296 and Tiarra Rhodes 275. For Ottawa-Glandorf, Beckka Compton led the Titans with a 324. Other Titan series were Katie Fawcett 246, Moe Duling 237, Paige Compton 219 and Willow Hourman 200. Van Wert won round two 806-616.

Ottawa-Glandorf moves to 3-4 on the season and 2-3 in the Western Buckeye League.

Boys Bowling

VAN WERT — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Brandt Utrup had the high series in round one with a 406. Other Titan scores were Justin Yaeger 397, Sean Kelley 379 and Jake Fawcett 348. Individual game scores were Bradan Maas 140 and Josh Walls 138. For Van Wert, Ian Ellis rolled a 387. Other Cougar series were Aidyn Sidle 338 and Taylor Springer 338. Noah Specter had an individual game of 162. Ottawa-Glandorf won round two 954-877.

Ottawa-Glandorf improves to 6-2 and 3-2 in the WBL.
