Allen County: The Allen County Archers are holding traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long. They are open to all archery equipment.
Columbus Grove: Columbus Grove Archery Club holds traditional shoots at 7 p.m. Tuesdays through April. Go to facebook.com/GroveArchery or call Tom Frick at 419-384-3033 for more information. Club memberships are also available.
Elida: The 2020 version of the Mercy Health Tip Off will be held this weekend at the Elida Fieldhouse.
The first game at 6 p.m. Friday will be Bath against Lima Central Catholic followed by Elida Bulldogs and Shawnee. The consolation game will be at 6 p.m. Saturday followed by the championship game.
Due to the COVID-19 mandates the games will be in split sessions both nights. All spectators must wear masks and observe social distancing at all times. Because of the social distancing immediate family members of the athletes are encouraged to sit in the lower bowl. All others, including students, will be asked to sit in the upper deck.
There will be no ticket sales at the door either night. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. each night. Each school will have a limited amount of tickets. All games will be livestreamed at app.wosn.tv for $7.
Lima: the second annual YMCA Classic state tournament qualifier for fifth and sixth grade boys and girls teams will be held Feb. 27 and 28. Cost is $150 per team with three games guaranteed. Deadline to register is Feb. 19. Register online at limaymca.net or at the Lima Family YMCA, 345 S. Elizabeth St., where the tournament will be played, or send payment to Lima Family YMCA, Attn: Aaron Cross, 345 S. Elizabeth St., Lima, Ohio 45801. Single day admission will be $8 for adults and $2 for seniors. Two-day admission will be $8 for adults and $3 for seniors. Those under 18 will get in free the entire tournament. Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.
Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (appointment only). Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
