ARCHERY

Allen County: The Allen County Archers are holding traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long. They are open to all archery equipment.

BASKETBALL

Lima: The Lima Family YMCA will be holding a skill development training program for boys and girls in kindergarten through second grade. Participants will work on the game’s basics and are asked to bring their own basketballs if possible. Registration is until Oct. 30. Sessions will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will begin Nov. 7. Cost is $20 for Y members and $40 for non-members, including a T-shirt. Masks are required when entering and walking through the building. Lima: The Lima Family YMCA will be holding a men’s league, consisting of a six-week regular season followed by a single elimination tournament. Jerseys will be provided to each team. There will be no spectators allowed for the regular season games. Games will be played beginning at 6 p.m. Thursdays. starting Oct. 22. Tournament will start Dec. 3. Cost is $350 per team. HORSESHOES

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. PICKLEBALL

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (appointment only). Free for YMCA members and $3 per visit for nonmembers or $20 per month for nonmembers (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at limaymca.net. Call 419-223-6045 for more information.

PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING

Lima: The WAR Wrestling Presents Fansgiving event will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, that the Empowered Sports Center, 1730 N. Union St.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m with wrestling starting at 7 p.m.

There will be 200 tickets sold at $16 with all local and state restrictions, protocols and guidelines followed. RUNNING

Lima: The Lima Family YMCA’s 5K Pumpkin Run will be held at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 24. Registration available until race day. Cost is $20, including T-shirt and pumpkin, until Oct. 12 and $10 thereafter (does not include T-shirt or pumpkin). Run will be on Riverwalk with the start and finish at the YMCA (345 S. TRAPSHOOTING

Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
