Roundup: Ottawa-Glandorf stays unbeaten in volleyball

MILLBURY — Ottawa-Glandorf moved to 8-0 on the season with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 victory Saturday against Lake High School.

Maddie White had 12 kills, Miya Ellerbrock had a dozen kills, Saleigha Ellerbrock had 28 assists and Lexi Fortman had 18 digs for O-G.

Shawnee 3, Ottoville 0

OTTOVILLE — The Indians won 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Karrington Green had 14 kills and Addison Maxwell had 17 assists for Shawnee. Ottoville’s individual leaders were not reported by deadline.

Continental 3, Temple Christian 0

The Pirates won 25-14, 25-17, 26-24. Madelyn Potts had 20 digs, Tygre Troyer had 13 kills and Catelyn Etter had 24 assists for Continental.

Cecelia Worsham had 11 kills, Kaylee Linhart had 17 assists, Lindsey Stump had three aces and Jessica Holloway had 12 digs for Temple Christian.

Celina 3, Minster 0

The Bulldogs won 25-22, 25-22, 25-22. Maria Lutz had 11 kills, Payton Bertke had a pair of aces and Payton Bertke finished with 39 assists for Celina.

Brynn Oldiges and Ella Mescher had four kills, Jayden Clune had 12 assists and Ivy Wolf had 17 digs for Minster.

Perry 3, Cory-Rawson 0

The Commodores won 25-21, 25-22, 26-24. Lexenna Lee had nine aces, Mary Hoersten had nine kills and nine assists and Bryce James had 15 digs for Perry. Alli Garmatter had nine kills, Alli Garmatter had three aces and Maddy Wellington had 13 assists for Cory-Rawson.

Vanlue 3, Waynesfield-Goshen 0

W-G fell 25-23, 25-19, 25-11.

Waynesfield-Goshen Leaders: Zoe Schlegel had four aces and six digs, Rylie Barrington had five assists and four kills and Kyleigh Bigelow had six digs for Waynesfield-Goshen.

Record: Waynesfield-Goshen 4-5.

Marion Local 3, Anna 0

The Flyers won 25-10, 25-8, 25-16.

Kinsey Thobe had 10 kills, Alana Pohlman had five blocks, Heidi Rethman had 28 assists, and three blocks, Nicole Franck had nine kills and Lydia Griesdorn had seven digs for Marion Local.

SYLVANIA — Lima Central Catholic finished second with a team total of 310 at par 71 Highland Meadows Country Club, two strokes behind champion New Albany.

LCC’s Mary Kelly Mulcahy was medalist with a 68. Erin Mulcahy (71), Emma Mayers (84) and Bridget Mulcahy (87) also contributed to the Thunderbirds’ team total.

Coldwater’s Ava Giere, Mallory Kremer, Brianna Keller, Janelle Halterman and Leah Kaiser each had a goal. Kyrstin Moore had Jefferson’s goal.

Taylor Morris had Shawnee’s goal.

Trinity Prowant had the match’s only goal.

Kyle Manns and Preston Mansfield each had a goal.

Continental 9, Northwood 0

Rhenn Armey had three goals, Noah Bibler had a pair of scores and Carson Etter, Braxton Stegbauer, Wyatt Davis and Peyton Wilson each had a single tally. Davis also had two assists.

NAPOLEON — Columbus Grove won the team championship at Leader Farms. Carson Closson led the way for Grove with a second-place finish. Teammates Caleb Stechschulte and Trent Koch finished third and fifth respectively.

Coldwater Mini-MAC

COLDWATER — Anna won the team title with 18 points followed by Versailles (50), New Bremen (80), Coldwater (80) and Fort Recovery (119). Isaac Schoen was the top area finisher with a second-place effort.

Freedom Invitational

NAPOLEON — Columbus Grove finished second in the team standings behind Liberty Center. Erin Downing led Grove with a ninth-place finish.

Coldwater Mini-MAC

COLDWATER — Versailles was the team winner with 43 points followed by Anna (5), New Bremen (56), Fort Recovery (62) and Coldwater (125). New Bremen’s Chloe Homan was fourth and Fort Recovery’s Ellie Will was fifth.
