Roundup: Paulding claims team title at boys golf invitational

PAYNE — Paulding (175) won the team title at Thursday’s Wayne Trace Invitational followed by Wayne Trace (180), Miller City (182), Lincolnview (182), Antwerp (207), Fort Jennings (208) and Crestview (223).

Medalist Kyle Dominique (39), Blake McGarvey (43), Josh Carper (45) and Hailey Hartzell (48) combined for the winning score at par 36 Pleasant Valley.

Miller City’s TJ Michel (40), Lincolnview’s Grant Glossett (44), Fort Jennings’ Evan Hoersten (49) and Crestview’s Evan Scarltett (51) had the low rounds for their respective teams.

Leipsic 190, Columbus Grove 201

OTTAWA — Leipsic’s Mason Brandt, Jaden Siefker and Luke Spoors each shot 47 at par 36 Moose Landing to tie for medalist honors. Alex Gerdeman also contributed to the winning total with a 49. Noah Macke and Nick Wolverton each shot 49 to lead Grove.

Minster 164, New Knoxville 204

MINSTER — Minster’s Joseph Magoto was medalist with a 1-over-par 37 at Arrowhead. No other Minster scores were reported by deadline. Sam Anspach led New Knoxville with a 46.

Delphos St. John’s 165, Parkway 191

Medalist Jeffrey Odenweller (39), Jack Gerker (40), Trent Lindeman (42) and Collin Feathers (44) combined for the winning total. Adam Stephenson led Parkway with a 46.
