CELINA — Wapakoneta claimed the team title during Friday’s Celina Invitational girls golf competition at Lynx Golf Club.

Wapak finished with a team total of 361 followed by Wayne Trace (369), Versailles (376), Coldwater and Fort Recovery (382 each), St. Henry (403), Findlay (404), Celina (418), Defiance (427), Shawnee (436), Lincolnview (440), St. Marys (482), Parkway (563).

St. Henry’s Ellen Naumann was medalist with a 1-over-par 73 with Wayne Trace’s Kenadie Daeger (76), Fort Recovery’s Jalyn Bruns (79) and Wapakoneta’s Taylor West (84) and Jackie Oen (85) rounding out the top five.

Shawnee’s Haylee Wurm (86), Coldwater’s Jordan Hemmelgarn (87), Celina’s Grace Romer (91), St. Marys’ Eva Youngs (93), Lincolnview’s Winter Boroff (94), Parkway’s Emily Clutter (117) and New Bremen’s Allison Hays (124) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Tri match

Delphos Jefferson (212) had the low team score followed by Marion Local (236) and Ottoville (242) at the par 36 Mercer County Elks.

Ottoville’s Allie Honigford was medalist with a 47. Delphos Jefferson’s Anna Fitch (50) and Marion Local’s Hailey Walker (56) had the low scores for their respective teams.

Liberty-Benton Invitational

FINDLAY — Lima Central Catholic was the team champ with a 321 followed by Liberty-Benton (334), Bluffton (348), Allen East (349), Van Buren (353), Bath (356), Bowling Green (375), Upper Sandusky (378), Bellevue (380), Arlington (411) and Van Wert (434).

Bath’s Britton Hall was medalist with a one-over-par 73 at Sycamore Springs Golf Course followed by Allen East’s Zach Miller (77). LCC’s Alex Wisser and Liberty-Benton’s Patrick Streaker (78 each) and LCC’s Parker Judy and Upper Sandusky’s Owen Knapp (79 each) rounded out the all-tournament team.

Bluffton’s Kenny Lovett (82) and Van Wert’s Evan Knittle (95) had the low scores for their respective schools.

Medalist Cooper Talowsky (41), Jon Hefner (43), Clay Wilsey (43) and Austin West (46) combined for the winning total at the par 36 Mercer County Elks. Sam Koesters led St. Henry with a 42.

NWC quad match

DEFIANCE — Lincolnview (164) had the low team total in a matchup of Northwest Conference members followed by Paulding (168), Columbus Grove (182) and Crestview (214).

Lincolnview’s Evan Miller was medalist with a 1-over-par 37 at Auglaize Golf Course. Paulding’s Josh Carper (38), Columbus Grove’s Taylor Schroeder (43) and Crestview’s Evan Scarlett (47) had the low rounds for their respective teams.

LIMA — Singles players Madison Snider, Makenzie Schroeder and Bailey Barrett and the doubles teams of Alyssa Good and Casey Minnig and Mara Stiles and Abby Metzger all won matches.

KENTON — Singles player Emma Mulligan and the doubles team of Sam Lowe and Aaliyah Rogers each won three games for the host Wildcats.
