HARROD — Medalist Mary Kelly Mulcahy equaled her Lima Central Catholic girls golf team record 65 in leading the Thunderbirds to the title at Tuesday’s Colonial Golfers Club tournament.

LCC finished with a 304 team total on the par 72 layout. Erin Mulcahy (71), Carlie Van Meter (82) and Emma Mayers (86) also contributed to the winning total. Fairbanks (346) finished second followed by Hopewell-Louden (365), Wapakoneta (373), Findlay (385), Coldwater (401), Delphos St. John’s (408), Minster (421), Celina and Shawnee (424 each), Lincolnview (433), Elmwood (446), Defiance (452), Lexington (470) and Parkway (561).

Shawnee’s Madilyn Paphanchith (80), Lincolnview’s Winter Boroff (88), Wapakoneta’s Taylor West (88), Celina’s Grace Romer (92), Paige Gaynier (93) of Delphos St. John’s, Ottoville’s Allie Honigford (94), Coldwater’s Sarah Diller (95), Bluffton’s Allison Burghaze (113) and Parkway’s Emily Clutter (114) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Wauseon Invitational

WAUSEON — Playing as individuals, Miller City’s Isabelle Vance (10th) and Chelsea Erford (tied for 25th) shot 94 and 112 respectively on the par 72 Ironwood Golf Course. Kenadie Daeger from team champ Wayne Trace was medalist with a 77. Wayne Trace won a fifth-score tiebreaker against Wauseon after each finished with a team score of 381.

Shawnee 159, Defiance 178

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Medalist Justin Altenbach (38), Colton Morris (39), Jack Shivley (41) and Solomon Smith (41) combined for the winning total at par 36 Shawnee Country Club.

Bluffton 162, Leipsic 185

BLUFFTON — Co-medalist Kenny Lovett (35), Wes Brauen (40), Micah Minnig (41) and Jacob Boisvert (46) combined for the winning score at par 36 Bluffton Golf Club. Leipsic’s Mason Brandy matched Lovett’s total.

Mercer County

St. Henry (346) won the team title followed by Coldwater (354), Fort Recovery (372), Marion Local (389), Celina (396) and Parkway (399).

Medalist Sam Koesters Sam Koesters (77), Nate Niekamp (86), Ben Romer (88) and Seth Heitkamp (95) combined for the winning score.

Coldwater’s Carson Muhlenkamp (81), Fort Recovery’s Derek Lochtefeld (84), Celina’s David Kramer (88), Marion Local’s Logan Fleck (88) and Parkway’s Hunter Gibson (92) had the low rounds for their respective teams.

NWC quad match

DEFIANCE — Allen East (161) had the low team total among the Northwest Conference foes followed by Paulding (165), Delphos Jefferson (203) and Ada (225) at par 36 Auglaize Golf Course.

Zach Miller (40), Carter Frey (40), Elijah Lawrence (40) and Noah Brown (41) contributed to the low total.

Delphos Jefferson’s Logan Gallmeier shot a 39 to earn medalist honors. Paulding’s Kyle Dominique and Blake McGarvey (40 each) and Ada’s Jacob Morgan, Dexter Woods III and Andrew Rush (54 each) had the low scores for their schools.

Cardinal Invitational

MINSTER — Anna (327) won the team title followed by St. Marys (328), Versailles (350), Russia (352), Wapakoneta (356), Minster (357), Houston (367), Jackson Center (373), New Knoxville (412) and New Bremen (432) at par 72 Arrowhead Golf Club

Anna’s Bryce Cobb was medalist with a 72. Minster’s Joseph Magoto (79), Wapakoneta’s Clay Wilsey (79), St. Marys’ Andrew Moore and Cole Koenig (80), New Knoxville’s Sam Anspach (99) and New Bremen’s Preston Hoehne (102) had the low totals for their respective schools.

Fort Jennings 218

DELPHOS — Medalist Blake Steiner (42), Jacob Suter (46), Trey Hovest (48) and Eli Huffman (48) combined for the winning in a match of Putnam County teams at par 36 Delphos Country Club. Nick Trentman led Fort Jennings with a 52.

New schedule

for Lima Senior

The Three Rivers Athletic Conference, which includes Lima Senior, has announced its new schedule for this season. Under the six game format, Lima Senior plays at Toledo Central Catholic on Aug. 28, is home against Oregon Clay on Sept. 4, plays host to Fremont Ross on Sept. 11, is at Toledo St. John’s on Sept. 18, will play at home against at Toledo St. Francis on Sept. 25 and travel to Findlay on Oct. 2.

LEXINGTON — Singles players Libby Simmons and Paige Brinkman and the doubles team of Nicole Patricio-Agosto and Ally Oravitz won for Lima Central Catholic.

SHAWNEE — Singles players Kunmi Ojo, Aria Patel and Alora Patel and the doubles teams of Donna Bowers and Rose Kottapalli and Delaney Dawson and Vanessa Paysen all won matches.

Van Wert 5, Lehman Catholic 0

VAN WERT — Singles players Allie Etter, Grace Lott and Lizzie Rutkowski and the doubles teams of Sophie Rutkowski and Natalie Benner and Jamie Burenga and Tayzia Havill all won matches.
