BLUFFTON — Lima Central Catholic needed a lower fifth player’s score to win Thursday’s Bluffton Pirate Invitational at par 72 Bluffton Golf Club.

Brady Koenig’s 90 gave the Thunderbirds the victory after they tied the Pirates at 330.

Alex Wisser (79), Ross Otto (81), Parker Judy (82), Casey Koenig (88) produced LCC’s top four scores.

Upper Sandusky (367) finished third followed by Mohawk (374), Pandora-Gilboa (377), Leipsic (378), Van Buren (402) and McComb (436).

Bluffton’s Kenny Lovett was medalist with a 74. Leipsic’s Mason Brandt (82) and Pandora-Gilboa’s Grant Farthing (86) had the low rounds for their schools.

Celina Invitational

CELINA — Led by medalist Carson Harmon’s 3-under 69, Elida won the team title with a 319 total at Celina Lynx Golf Club.

Ottawa-Glandorf (324) finished second followed by Liberty-Benton (329), Anna (331), St. Marys (333) and Defiance (335). Shawnee and St. Henry tied for seventh at 339 followed by Kalida (344), Coldwater (348), Delphos St. John’s (351), Bath (356), Wapakoneta (376), Celina (379), Parkway (397), Kenton (402), Van Wert (417) and Marion Local (424).

Hunter Jolliff (76), Cameron Collins (85) and Hayes Burton (89) also contributed to Elida’s winning total.

Bath’s Britton Hall (79), Celina’s David Kramer (88), Coldwater’s Carson Muhlenkamp (76), Jack Gerker and Collin Feathers (83 each) of Delphos St. John’s, Kalida’s Ryan Klausing (72), Kenton’s Ethan Wirbel (86), Marion Local’s Marcus Rethman (99), Ottawa-Glandorf’s Zach Stechschulte (77), Parkway’s Hunter Bruns (90), Shawnee’s Justin Altenbach (78), St. Henry’s Sam Koesters (80), St. Marys’ Dole Koenig (79), Van Wert’s Evan Knittle (93) and Wapakoneta’s Clay Wilsey and Jon Hefner (88 each) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Girls Golf

St. Henry 199, Shawnee 215

LIMA — Medalist Ellen Naumann (37), Dana Rindler (51), Courtney Clune (52) and Brianna Post (59) combined for the winning total the the par 36 Oaks Golf Club. Madilyn Paphanchith led Shawnee with a 41.

Panther Invitational

PICKERINGTON — Erin and Mary Kelly Mulcahy each shot 76 to tie for fifth individually in leading Lima Central Catholic to a sixth-place finish in the 28 team event at par 73 Turnberry Golf Course. Bridget Mulcahy (86) and Emma Mayers (94) also contributed to the Thunderbirds’ 332 total. Mason won the team title with a 307 score, led by Jenna Harter’s 73, which tied Upper Arlington’s Julia Rabadam for the low round of the tourney.

LCC 166, Wapakoneta 204

WAPAKONETA — Medalist Mary Kelly Mulcahy (36), Erin Mulcahy (42), Bridget Mulcahy (43) and Carlie Van Meter (45) combined for the winning total Thursday at par 36 Wapakoneta Country Club. Taylor West led Wapak with a 47.
