BLUFFTON — Jack Gerker and Ryan Klausing defeated Carter Schimmoeller and Zach Stechschulte in a scorecard playoff to win the boys 16-18 division after each team shot a tourney low 63 in Thursday’s Lima Junior Golf Association McDonald’s Junior Series two-player scramble at the par 72 Bluffton Golf Club.
Girls 16-18 winners Emma Mayers and Grace Miller finished with a 69 team total with Carlie VanMeter and Leiahanni Smith finishing second at 73. Ross Dietz and JJ Meyer had the low score of 74 in the boys 14-15 division. Collin Feathers and Louis Magoto were second with a 75 total.
In the nine-hole competition, Treg Meyer and Will Dietz shot 37, one shot lower than runners-up Noah Krites and Calvin Byrum in the Peewee 11 and younger division.
In boys 12-13 event, Brevin Brandt and Paul Stechschulte were first with a 36. Braylon Lampert and Aiden Meinerding finished second with a 39.
Kallie McKinley and Kasey Nelson were the 15 and younger champs with a 39. Morgan Maxwell and Ella Porter were second with a 43 total.
