ARCHERY

Allen County: The Allen County Archers are holding traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long. They are open to all archery equipment.

Allen County: The Allen County Archers will be holding 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday of each month March through September. It is open to all equipment.

Columbus Grove: The Columbus Grove Archery Club is holding its traditional shoots at 7:30 Thursday evenings through April.

BASEBALL

Lima: Registration is underway for bus trips to the Washington Nationals against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, June 27. The fee is $75 and includes game ticket, round trip transportation, a sandwich and snacks. Ticket must be paid by May 27. A bus trip is also scheduled for the New York Yankees against the Cleveland Indians on Aug. 29. The fee is $75 and the ticket must be paid by July 29. Bath Township: Bath baseball is having its annual “Best of the Northwest” youth tournament June 5-7. This is a school team tournament (all players must be from the same school district) 12 teams excepted for each division (first 12 teams paid in each division). There will be a 12U, 10U and 8U coach pitch division. Cost for the 12U & 10U division will be $250 with a three game guarantee. Cost for the 8U coach pitch division will be $200 with a three game guarantee. Delphos: The Nathan Miller Memorial Baseball Tournament will be May 2-31 at the Delphos Stadium Park. The tournament is 16-20 teams for boys age 11-12 years old (age cutoff is March 1). The tournament will be pool play with a 3-game guarantee. Players must be from the same school district. Teams may have up to 14 players. Cost is $200.00 with a $50.00 non-refundable entry fee. BASKETBALL

New Knoxville: A spring basketball league for boys currently in the seventh and eighth grades is scheduled March 22, March 24, March 26, March 27, March 31, April 3 and April 5 at New Knoxville High School.

Game times are 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Entry fee is $75. Equal playing time for all players in all games. Contact New Knoxville boys head basketball coach Mike Piatt at 937-638-7762 or at mpiatt@nkrangers.org for more information.

FOOTBALL

Auglaize County: The Raising the Barn 2.0 event with guest speaker Urban Meyer will be at the Piehl Family Arena at he Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta on June 13. The event is sponsored by The New Knoxville School Improvement Committee. Tickets go on sale March 15 at noon at thebarntwo.com. VIP Tables are - $8,000 ($1,000 per person) and includes a served dinner and photo and autograph opportunities with Urban Meyer. Elite Tables are - $6,000 ($750 per person); Buckeye Tables, - $4,000 ($500 per person), Ranger Tables, - $3,000 ($375 per person, General Tables,- $2,000 ($250 per person). Lima: The Football is Life Youth Football camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 19 will be held at Robb Park on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 4 -7 p.m. April 21 through May 21. Cost is $15 for members and $30 for non members. You can register online at limaymca.net or mail in registraions or stop over at the Lima YMCA.

GOLF

Lima: The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the 52nd annual Chamber Golf Classic will be Wednesday, Aug. 5. The locations of the Golf Classic will be Hidden Creek Golf Club and Colonial Golfers Club. You may register now for this outing. HORSESHOES

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. KARATE

Lima: The Lima Family YMCA is holding a karate program from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $30 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

PICKLEBALL

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday (appointment only). Free for YMCA members and $3 per visit for nonmembers or $20 per month for nonmembers (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at limaymca.net.

Bluffton: The Bluffton Family Recreation will be offering pickleball from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays and from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Thursdays.

TRAPSHOOTING

Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
