Roundup: Perry locks down at least share of NWCC title

SIDNEY — Perry guaranteed itself at least a share of the Northwest Central Conference championship in boys basketball with a 53-34 victory Friday night against Lehman Catholic.

Chazz Jackson (15), Brayden Knight (14) and Jeffrey Simpson (13) each scored in double digits for the Commodores (12-4, 7-0 NWCC).

DELPHOS — Brady Parrish had 21 points and Brady Grothaus scored 13 for DSJ (11-4, 2-4 Midwest Athletic Conference). Reece Busse had 15 points and Nolan Bornhorst scored nine for the visiting Cardinals (7-9, 1-5 MAC).

St. Marys 54, Elida 43

ELIDA — Ethan Steger (15), LeTrey Williams (12) and Austin Parks (11) each scored in double figures for the visiting Roughriders (12-3, 4-2 Western Buckeye League). Riley Fricke had 15 points and Dylan Buetner, Quan Moore and Riley Creps each scored eight for the Bulldogs (6-11, 2-4 WBL).

FORT JENNINGS — Austin Ruhe (18), Jon Burgei (17), Nick Gable (16), Jacob Koenig (12) and Ross Niese (12) each scored in double digits for Miller City (11-5, 3-2 Putnam County League). Nick Trentman (22), Evan Hoersten (21) and Zach Schulte (16) reached double digits for the Musketeers (2-15, 0-5 PCL).

LEIPSIC — Drew Liffick (19), Dillan Niese (15), Jaden Siefker (11), Lorenzo Walther (10) and Mason Brandt (10) each scored in double digits for the host Vikings (9-7, 4-2 Blanchard Valley Conference).
