Girls high school basketball roundup: Amira Freeman scores 20 in Elida victory

LEIPSIC — Amira Freeman had 20 points and Katelyn Makin (12), Addisyn Freeman (10) and Brooke Reese (10) also scored in double digits for Elida (9-7) in its 58-50 girls high school basketball victory Saturday against the host Vikings (9-7).

Addisyn Freeman and Makin also had nine and six rebounds respectively. Whitney Langhals (13), Marisa Hermiller (11), Liz Scheckelhoff (10) and Kyrsten Martinez (10) were double digit scorers for Leipsic. Scheckelhoff also had 10 rebounds.

Pandora-Gilboa 36

CONTINENTAL — Catelyn Etter (16), Addyson Armey (14) and Kerri Prowant (13) each scored in double digits for the Pirates (9-8, 1-4 Putnam County League). Etter also had 14 rebounds.

Lacie Fenstermaker had 16 points and Regan Russell scored 10 for P-G (1-16, 0-5 PCL).

Delphos Jefferson 35

OTTOVILLE — Nicole Knippen (13), Elise Kramer (11) and Alexa Honigford (10) each scored in double digits for the host Big Green (11-7). Addy Stewart had 11 points and Aly Lindeman scored nine for Jefferson (7-11).

Bluffton 47,

Riverdale 35

BLUFFTON — Libby Schaadt had 16 points and Laykin Garmatter scored 13 for the host Pirates (12-4).

New Knoxville 52, Botkins 22

BOTKINS — Morgan Leffel (17), Ellie Gabel (14) and Jacklyn Leffel (12) each scored in double digits for the Rangers (12-5). Carmen Heuker had 13 points for Botkins (12-5)

Spencerville 59,

SPENCERVILLE — Riley Rismiller had 15 points and Lauren Gilliland scored 11 for the visiting Cavaliers (7-9). Individual scoring for the Bearcats (10-6) was not reported by deadline.

ST. MARYS — Carly Caywood had 19 points and Kendall Dieringer scored 13 for thehost Roughriders (13-4). Rosie Williams had 14 points and Olivia Stolly scored 10 for Lima Central Catholic (9-8)
