Girls basketball: Columbus Grove stays unbeaten in PCL

MILLER CITY — Columbus Grove improved to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the Putnam County League with a 56-36 girls high school basketball victory Saturday against the host Wildcats.

Kenzie King had 22 points and four assists, Abby Gladwell scored 12, Angel Schneider had nine points and six rebounds and Erin Downing had five rebounds for the Bulldogs, who finished with 28 rebounds and eight steals.

Natalie Koenig had 17 points and Abi Lammers had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Miller City (11-3, 3-2 PCL), which had 24 rebounds.

LCC 42, Celina 22

CELINA — Rosie Williams (14), Olivia Stolly (13) and Mary Kelly Mulcahy (10) each scored in double digits for Lima Central Catholic (9-7). Taylor Klingshirn had seven points for the host Bulldogs (3-11).

Leipsic 44,

Continental 30

LEIPSIC — Krysten Martinez had 16 points and three steals, Whitney Langhals had 11 points and nine steals and Liz Scheckelhoff had nine rebounds for the host Vikings (8-6, 3-2 PCL). Individual stats for Continental (7-8, 1-4 were not reported by deadline).

Arcadia 62,

Hardin Northern 31

DOLA — Maddie Grappy had 19 points, Quinn Stewart-Evans had six points and four rebounds and Emma Martin had four rebounds for Hardin Northern (5-11).

Bluffton 57,

Pandora-Gilboa 34

PANDORA — Lacie Fenstermaker had 19 points, nine rebounds and four steals for P-G (1-13). Libby Schaadt had 16 points and Laykin Garmatter and Kylie Monday scored eight each for Bluffton (11-3).
