Girls basketball: Miller City, Ottawa-Glandorf get 11th victories

MILLER CITY — The host Wildcats moved to 11-1 on the season with a 49-42 girls high school basketball victory Saturday against Arlington.

Natalie Koenig had 20 points and Abi Lammers scored 19, pulled down 19 rebounds and finished with five steals for Miller City, which won the rebound battle 28-23 and finished with 18 turnovers compared to Arlington’s 19.

Fort Recovery 41

OTTAWA — Chloee Glenn (12), Brianna Schimmoeller (12), Erin Kaufman (11) and Kelsey Erford (10) each scored in double digits for O-G (11-1). Rammel had 10 points and Muhlenkamp and Vaughn each scored nine for Fort Recovery (9-3).

LCC 62, Perry 29

LIMA — The host Thunderbirds had 10 players score at least one point. Mary Kelly Mulcahy had 11 points and Peyton Craig scored 10 for Lima Central Catholic (7-6). Tia Barfield had 10 points for Perry (4-9).

Kenton 74,

Upper Scioto Valley 35

KENTON — The host Wildcats won the rebound battle 44-27 and committed 15 turnovers compared to the Rams’ 32.

Lindsey Smith (13), Jenna Manns (13), Kaylin Hildreth (11) and Sidney Plott (10) each scored in double digits for Kenton (5-6). Plott also had six assists and five steals and Smith had nine rebounds. Haylie Martin had 20 points, nine rebounds and three steals and Allison Moore had eight points for USV (0-12).

Van Wert 50,

Lincolnview 35

VAN WERT — Sofia Houg had 13 points and Jamison Clouse scored 12 and finished with six rebounds for the host Cougars (3-9). Annie Mendenhall had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists and Brianna Ebel and Jordan Decker each had 10 points for the Lancers (0-12).

St. Marys 50,

Parkway 35

ROCKFORD — Carly Caywood had 20 points and Lauren Cisco and Noelle Ruane each scored six for St. Marys (8-4). Gabrielle Stober had 12 points and Elise Darrigan scored 10 for Parkway (4-8).
