DELPHOS — Perry jumped out to an 18-9 first quarter lead that grew to 32-18 at halftime on its way to a 59-36 boys high school basketball victory Saturday night against Jefferson.

Chazz Jackson (16), Brayden Knight (14), Terry Riley (10) and Ryan Yingst (10) each scored in double digits for the visiting Commodores. Ian Wannemacher had 14 points for the Wildcats.

TOLEDO — Evan Unruh (14), Rossy Moore (11) and Jay Riepenhoff (10) each scored in double digits for Lima Central Catholic.

Allen East 68,

Waynesfield-Goshen 56

HARROD — Bradden Crumrine (14), Mason Dotson (13) and Gavin Hutchison (10) each scored in double digits for Allen Eat (3-1). Hyatt Kaufman and Layton Campbell each had 14 points for W-G.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — George Mangas (19), Caden Vermillion (19), John Barker (15) and Jarin Bertke (10) each scored in double digits for the host Indians (3-0). Matt Bertke had 25 points for the Redskins (2-2).

OTTAWA — Brennen Blevins (21), Owen Nichols (20), Parker Schomaeker (13) and Ben Westrick (10) each scored in double digits for O-G.

OTTOVILLE — Joe Miller (19), William Miller (13) and Drew Fisher (10) each scored in double digits for the host Big Green. Brandon Hull had 23 points and Phil Coulson scored 11 for the Bulldogs.

ARCADIA — Ewan Martin had 15 points and Nevin Robson scored 12 for Hardin Northern.

COLDWATER — Christopher Elchert had 13 points and Aidan Reichert scored 12 for Jackson Center. Ethan Post had nine points for the host Cavaliers.

CONTINENTAL — Creed Jessee had 15 points and Clayton Leeth scored 10 for the visiting Lancers. Michael Coleman had 26 points for Continental.

XENIA — Justin Nixon had 19 points and Jacob Salazar scored 17 for Minster.

PAULDING — Payton Beckman (18), Hunter Kauser (13), Matt Schroeder (12) and Seth Dysinger (10) each scored in double digits for the host Panthers.

FINDLAY — Luke Denecker had 27 points and Mason Soper scored 17 for Bluffton.

McCracken Invitational

SIDNEY — Allen East won the team title with 304 points followed by Versailles (287.5), Benjamin Logan (212), Tecumseh (203), Wapakoneta (155.5), Greenville (108.5), Shawnee 73, Van Wert (72), Sidney (63) and Fairborn (60).

Wapak’s Colin Mellott (106) and Evan Kaeck (220), Allen East’s Drake Carmean (126), Brennan Davies (285) and Eli Criblez (285B) and Van Wert’s Gabe Steyer (152) all won individual titles.

Cory-Rawson Duals

RAWSON — Delphos Jefferson went 5-0 to win the team championship followed by Van Buren (4-1), Cory-Rawson (3-2), Lima Senior (2-3), Ada (1-4) and Toledo Woodward (0-5).

C-R’s Deontae Davis was named the competition’s most valuable wrestler at 170 pounds, going 5-0 with four pins. Jefferson’s Emma Dailey (106), John Brooks (126), Anthony Bodine (132), Cody Redmon (138) and Kane Plescher (220) also went 5-0 on the day. Lima Senior’s Javier Brito-Diaz went 4-0 at 195 pounds.

Hoop Shoot

LIMA — Six area youngsters advanced to district competion with first-place finshes at the Elks Hoop Shoot held at the Lima Community Church Axis Center.

Those advancing included Leeann Hunt (girls 8-9) from Miller City/New Cleveland and Bryce Geary (girls 10-11), Cady Donaldson (girls 12-13), Carter Roessner (boys 8-9), Andrew Elwer (boys 10-11) and Cameron Elwer (boys 12-13) from Delphos St. John’s.

The district competition is scheduled for Jan. 12 in Ada with the winner advancing to state.

Matt Meinerding had the high series (433) and game (221) for Coldwater.

Alison Fox had the high game (223) and series (440) for Coldwater.
