Roundup: Bluffton men, women get hoops victories

BLUFFTON — Dezman Brown (16), Aaron Rich (15) and Bath grad Andrew Renner (10) each scored in double digits as Bluffton earned a 64-61 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory Wednesday night against Mt. St. Joseph.

Brown and Renner also had six and five assists respectively and teammate Jameel Cosby had eight points, 12 rebounds and four assists.

CINCINNATI — Kylie Brock had 14 points and Tj Mills and Brianna Gillig each scored 12 for Bluffton. Mills also had eight rebounds.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Fort Recovery grad Tori Lennartz scored 29 points off the bench and teammates Tya Bell (17) and New Knoxville grad Erin Scott (12) also scored in double figures as the Racers (3-8, 1-3) defeated Cornerstone for their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory of the season at Mol Arena. Bell also had seven rebounds and Scott had six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Kimyra McGhee led UNOH with eight rebounds.
