Roundup: Lima Senior’s Taylor, Bowsher named first team all-TRAC in football

Lima Senior’s Brandon Taylor and Adrian Bowsher have received first team Three Rivers Athletic Conference recognition at defensive lineman and offensive lineman respectively.

Lima Senior’s Jawan Anderson (running back) and Caymien Durr (defensive lineman) made the second team.

Lima Senior players making honorable mention included Cecil Benton Jr., Isaiah Funches-Foster, Tayon Johnson,

LaMonte Layson, Laquint Luster, Camren Miles, Larry Ragland and Jovon Robinson.

CELINA — Alex Lehman had the high series (349) and game (177) for Celina at Plaza Lanes. Tom Etzler had the high game (238) and series (413) for Parkway.

CELINA — Ashtyn Huber had the high game (212) and series (370) for Celina at Plaza Lanes. Katie Hauter had the high series (237) and Ali Rowen had the high game (142) for Parkway.

Saturday Tip-Off

times get changed

The start times for the Kewpee Tip-Off Classic consolation and championship games Saturday at Bath have been changed. The consolation game is slated to begin at 3 p.m. with the title encounter to follow.

The tourney’s first round is Friday with Marion Local playing Lima Senior at 6 p.m. followed by Bath and New Knoxville.

With Marion Local advancing to the football regional championship game Saturday against New Bremen, some JV and varsity basketball games have been rescheduled

The games at St. Marys have been moved to Dec. 30 starting at 4 p.m. and the encounters at Botkins will be played beginning at 6 p.m. Dec. 23. Also, the games at Wapakoneta will not be played Dec. 6. A new date has not been determined.

New Bremen-Kalida

gets rescheduled

The New Bremen at Kalida games scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29, have been moved to Monday, Dec. 30 with the junior varsity set to tip off at 6 p.m.
