HARROD — Minster claimed the team title with a 318 total at Thursday’s Division III boys golf sectional held at par 71 Colonial Golfers Club.
Medalist Grant Koenig (76), Joseph Magoto (77) and Grant Voisard (81) led the way for the champion Wildcats. Ethan Lehmkuhl and Jacob Wissman each shot 84 also for Minster.
Jack Gerker (80), Jeffrey Odenweller (81), Trent Lindeman (84) and Jared Lucas (87) of Delphos St. John’s combined for a 332 total to earn a spot at district with a second place finish. Lima Central Catholic got the third team spot for district as Casey Koenig (85), Ross Otto (85), Alex Wisser (87) and Jared Lucas (87) producing a 344 total.
Lincolnview’s Evan Miller (84), Temple Christian’s Lincoln Waters (84) and St. Henry’s Ree Koesters (85) moved on as individuals.
Delphos Jefferson’s Logan Gallmeier (87), Marion Local’s Logan Fleck (87), New Bremen’s Devon Thieman (88), Fort Recovery’s Grant Knapke (89), Perry’s Keaton Miller (91), Parkway’s Breyden Bruns (92), Perry’s Keaton Miller (91) and New Knoxville’s Max Henschen (96) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
FINDLAY — Medalist Zach Miller (77) led Allen East to a second place finish and a district berth. Carter Frey (86), Noah Brown (92) and Elijah Lawrence (95) also contributed to the Mustangs’ 350 total behind team champ Van Buren (349).
Drew Wilson (84), Jared Piercefield (89), Kenny Lovett (90) and Micah Minnig (94) combined for a 357 to earn Bluffton a third place finish and the last district spot.
Waynesfield-Goshen’s Chase Dunson (84) advanced as an individual. Columbus Grove’s Owen Macke (91), Pandora-Gilboa’s Alex Ricker (92), Upper Scioto Valley’s Quinn Sanders (94) and Ada’s Alex Morgan (99) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
DEFIANCE — Kalida (339) finished third behind Antwerp (327) and Pettisville (330) to advance to districts.
David Peck (81), Josh Recker (82), Ryan Klausing (87) and Justin Siebeneck (89) combined for Kalida’s total. No area players advanced as individuals.
Miller City’s T.J. Michel (85), Ottoville’s Carter Schnipke (86), Leipsic’s Brock Lammers (89), Fort Jennings’ Logan Schimmoeller (92) and Crestview’s Evan Scarlett (93) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf (349) finished third behind Liberty-Benton (329) and Upper Sandusky (345) on the par 72 layout to advance to districts. Alex Ellerbrock (86), Carter Schimmoeller (87), Parker Schomaeker (88) and Breyden Buckland (88) combined for O-G’s total. Bath’s Britton Hall (78) finished second behind medalist Brett Montgomery (75) of Upper Sandusky to advance as an individual. Coldwater’s Carson Muhlenkamp (83) and Van Wert’s Gavin Flickinger (85) also moved on as individuals. Paulding’s Noah Pessefall (88) and Kenton’s Trey Jeffries (93) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
