LIMA — The Lima Central Catholic set a school girls golf team record with a 148 total in a Northwest Ohio Girls Golf League tri match Tuesday at par 36 Lost Creek.
Erin and Mary Kelly Mulcahy tied for medalist honors with each shooting 36. Emma Mayers shot 37 and Bridget Mulcahy fired a 39 also for LCC. Findlay (212) finished second followed by North Baltimore (223).

WAYNEFIELD — Waynesfield-Goshen posted the only team total of 15. Elgin’s Brooklyn Mathews was the race winner in 23:40.0. Perry’s Lilly Floyd (25:57.0) was second, Waynesfield-Goshen’s Kyra Sutherland (26:14.0) and Samantha Smith (27:07.0) were third and fourth respectively and Perry’s Brooke Miller (27:21.0) finished fifth.
BLUFFTON — Bluffton University junior Sienna Sullivan has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Sullivan allowed one goal in more than 190 minutes as IU-Kokomo scored late in double overtime to break a scoreless tie Thursday night before Sullivan pitched a shutout on Sunday in Bluffton’s 1-0 victory against Hiram College.
