High school football: Bath defeats Elida on late TD

BATH TOWNSHIP — Lex Boedicker scored on a 1-yard run with 33 seconds remaining to give Bath a 6-0 victory Saturday night against Bath.

Marcel Poe had 135 yards on 26 carries and Keshawn Spivey had 102 yards on 18 carries for Elida.

Allen East 22, Wynford 14

HARROD — Allen East moved to 3-0 on the season.

Bryce Belcher had a 2-yard touchdown run and also connect with Bradden Crumrine on a 38-yard scoring play. Hunter Paxson had a 13-yard TD run also for the Mustangs.

Leipsic 42, Vanlue 6

VANLUE — Cole Williamson rushed for 75 yards on 10 attempts and scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and also caught a 47-yard TD pass from Drew Liffick as Leipsic moved to 3-0 on the season.

Riverside 24, Lima Senior 19

MANSFIELD — EJ Cameron completed 24 of 50 pass attempts for 286 yards and a touchdown for Lima Senior (2-1) in a suspended game completed Saturday. Cameron’s 10-yard TD throw went to Larry Ragland, who finished with seven catches for 117 yards. Jawaan Anderson had a 3-yard scoring run and Andrew Zell connected on two field goals and an extra point also for the Spartans.

Ada 45, Upper Scioto Valley 14

MCGUFFEY — Brandon Hull completed 12 passes for 149 yards and four touchdowns and rushed eight times for 122 yards and another TD. Zac Swaney caught two of Hull’s TD tosses and Phillip Coulson and Zac Swaney, who had seven receptions for 81 yards, caught one each.

Ada’s Colby ran 92 yards for a score. USV’s Kadyn Hurley connected twice with Tristan Fisher on TD passes.

Teammate Isaac Isbell opened the scoring with an 87-yard touchdown run.
