Allen County: The Allen County Archers are holding open 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday each month through September. They are open to all archery equipment. The club also holds traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is registering teams for the 3 on 3 men’s basketball league for individuals 18 and older. Registration runs through Oct. 22 with a fee of $50 per player or $300 per team. The league begins Oct. 22 and will be played every Thursday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Delta: The Delta High School NWO basketball clinic will be held at Delta High School at 6 p.m. Thursday. This is an court clinic. Scheduled speakers are John Ellenwood, Ashland University, John Tharp, Hillsdale College and Dennis Hopson, Lourdes University. Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. Lima: The Lima Family YMCA is holding a karate program from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $30 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.
Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday (appointment only). Free for YMCA members and $3 per visit for nonmembers or $20 per month for nonmembers (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at limaymca.net.
Bluffton: The Bluffton Family Recreation will be offering pickleball from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays and from 8:30-10:30a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Thursdays.
Delphos: The Delphos Canal Days 5K run/walk will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. Race entry includes placer kiosk at the finish line, chip timing, dri-fit shirt (if pre-registered by Sept. 15) and finisher photos. Run along the historic Miami-Erie Canal on a flat course filled with interesting facts about the waterway. Lima: The UNOH Softball will hold a ‘Meet the Team’ event and and free youth clinic beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. The UNOH Racers softball team will open their varsity practice to the public and everyone in attendance will have a chance to meet the Racer Softball Team. Following practice, the Racers will be available to autograph provided posters and interact with area youth. Coaches and players will then provide a free instructional clinic for registered participants ages 6-13. Those wishing to participate in the clinic will need to reserve their spot as space is limited. Lima: The Lima YMCA is registering individuals for the Youth Soccer League. Registration starts Sept. 21 and runs to Oct. 26 for individuals in grades 4-6. The fee is $25 for members and $50 for non members.
Lima: The Lima YMCA Barracudas Swim Team will be offering swim lessons beginning Sept. 9 and running until April. The fee is $250 and $165 for high school students.
The Lima YMCA Barracudas will hold a swim team parent informational meeting at the Y at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, and at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, Try-out sessions for new swimmers will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 4 and 7 p.m. Sept. 5 where evaluations will be done by the coaches to determine the proper practice group for the season. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool. Per National YMCA rules, swimmers must have a current membership at the Lima Family YMCA throughout the duration of the swim season.
The Lima YMCA Barracuda will be holding “5 Fundamentals of Fast Racing” at 1 p.m. Sept. 21. The fees for members is $100 and $125 for non members. Swim international level swimmer Erik Risolvato has been invited to teach his “5 Fundamentals of Fast Racing” swim clinic. This clinic will cover starts, turns, under waters breakouts and finishes along with some out of water focuses to help maximize swimming performance. Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly.
