LIMA — The Racers scored a pair of goals in the opening 12 minutes and held on the rest of the way in the final match of the UNOH Showcase.
Mikhail Radchenko gave the Racers a 1-0 advantage at the 8:56 mark of the first half as he gathered in a Devin Morgan corner kick and converted the header for his first goal of the season. UNOH added what turned out to be the game-winning goal at the 12:03 mark as David Moreno took a pass from the left side by Gustavo Moses and knocked in a shot into the left side of the goal for his first goal of the year and the first assist for Moses.

EDINBURG, Texas — Lima’s Eddie “Jr Rocci” Hines , from the Southside Spartan boxing gym was part of the Premier Boxing championships this past weekend at Bert Ogden Arena.
He faced Cesar Cantu from Weslaco, Texas, in a super featherweight division bout, losing in a decision.
“It was a great opportunity for Eddie to see if he could handle the big stage and he performed a solid performance,” Southside’s Lonnie Rettig said.
