LIMA — Lima Central Catholic claimed the team title Thursday at the Allen County Girls High School Championship played at the par 71 Lost Creek Golfers club.

LCC’s Erin Mulcahy took medalist honors with a 75 followed by teammates Mary Kelly Mulcahy (78), Bridget Mulcahy (85) and Emma Mayers (87) for a 325 total. Shawnee finished second with a 404 total led by Madilyn Paphanchith with a 90. Delphos St. John’s finished third at 438. Cassidy Beining had the low round for DSJ with a 105.

Gary Broering Memorial

St. Henry won the team title with a 366 total at the par 72 Mercer County Elks. Coldwater (393) finished second.

Medalist Ellen Naumann (80), Alana Siefring (91), Calli Hemmelgarn (96) and Claire Clune (99) combined for the winning score. New Bremen’s Sarah Parker (87), Fort Recovery’s Jalyn Bruns (89), Lincolnview’s Shiann Kraft (96), Celina’s Kendra Marsee (100), Wapakoneta’s Taylor West (104) and Marion Local’s Emily Nietfeld (108) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Minster 250

DELPHOS — Sydnie McGue (50), Anna Fitch (52), Riley Smith (52) and Emma Mueller (56) combined for Jefferson’s winning score at par-35 Delphos Country Club. Minster’s Layne Voisard was medalist with a 46.

Boys golf

Kalida Invitational

OTTAWA — Elida won the team title with a 317 total at par 72 Moose Landing Country Club with Kalida (323), Ottawa-Glandorf (326), Lima Central Catholic (331) and Bryan (341) also finishing among the top five in the 16-team competition.

Gavin Harmon led Elida with a 74. Ethan and Carson Harmon each shot 79 and Hunter Jolliff and Riley Creps fired 85s also for the Bulldogs.

Bryan’s Case Hartman was medalist with a 73. LCC’s Alex Wisser (75), Ottawa-Glandorf’s Alex Ellerbrock (77), Bath’s Britton Hall (78), Shawnee’s Justin Altenbach (79), Jared Lucas (83) of Delphos St. John’s, Kalida’s Ryan Klausing and Josh Recker (79 each), Allen East’s Zach Miller (86), Kenton’s Ethan Wirbel (88), Van Wert’s Zane Fast (91) and Paulding’s Kolson Egnor (93) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Championship

CELINA — Minster won the team title with a 320 score, three strokes lower than second place St. Marys.

Grant Voisard (77), Joseph Magoto (79), Grant Koenig (80) and Ethan Lehmkuhl (84) combined for the winning total. St. Marys’ Austin Boley was medalist with a 75. Wapakoneta’s Clay Wilsey (76), Waynesfield-Goshen’s Hyatt Kaufman (94), New Bremen’s Devon Thieman (97) and New Knoxville’s Max Henschen (113) had the low rounds for their respective teams.

Tri Match

DELPHOS — Delphos Jefferson (184) had the low round against Ada (203) and Crestview (216) at the par-35 Delphos Country Club.

Medalist Braxton Scalf (42), Logan Gallmeier (45), Jaden Lucas (48) and Brady Johnson (49) combined for the winning total. Ada’s Brevin Sizemore (46) and Evan Scarlett (49) had the low rounds for their respective squads.
