Allen County: The Allen County Archers are holding open 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday each month through September. They are open to all archery equipment. The club also holds traditional 3-D shoots on the third Saturday of the month all year long.

Lima: Hitting league registration now open. Apex Sports Zone will be holding machine pitch hitting leagues for baseball and softball. Four-player teams will compete in a six-week season including five league games and one postseason game. Games are five innings long in Apex’s professional, turfed cages. Convoy: The first meeting of the Knight Pride Club will be held Monday following Fall Meet the Team at approximately 7:45 p.m. in the high school study hall. All members and prospective members are invited. The Knight Pride Club supports Crestview athletics through the purchase of team uniforms, facility upgrades and needed equipment.
The Bath Parents Sports Club is accepting registrations for the 2019 flag football season for boys K through second, and third-fourth. Sign-up forms will be available through the elementary the first week of school or on Facebook. Registrations may be mailed or turned in from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, in the Bath Community Rooms. The deadline to register is Saturday, Sept 7. Lima: The 51st annual Chamber of Commerce outing will be held Aug. 7 at Hidden Creek and Colonial Golf Course. The fee for chamber members is $85 per golfer or $340 for a foursome and $95 for non chamber members and $380 for a foursome. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.
Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. Lima: The Lima Family YMCA is holding a karate program from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $30 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday (appointment only). Spencerville: The 43rd annual Spencerville All-Comers Cross Country Meet will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday Aug. 15, at Spencerville High School (600 School St, Spencerville, OH 45887). Six races on a flat grass course. Entry fee is $2 per person. Registration starts at 5 p.m. beside the football field. Races are: 6 p.m., 1 mile boys 13 & under; 6:15 p.m., 1 mile girls 13 & younger; 6:30 p.m. 1 mile male and female ages 14-29, 30-39, 40 & older; 6:40 p.m., 1 mile predicted time run for all ages; 6:55 p.m., female open 5K run for all ages; 7:30 p.m., male open 5K run for all ages. Ribbons to places first through sixth in 1 mile races, in 5K races first through 40th for female places and first through 6oth for male places and to the top six male and female teams.
