LIMA — Limaland Motorsports Park is back in action Friday night with the 22nd annual Limaland Season Points Championship/Meet the Drivers Night Presented by Alexander & Bebout Inc., featuring the Non Wing Sprint Cars, Northwest Physical Therapy UMP Modifieds and Bud Thunderstocks.
General admission is $12 for those 16 and older, $6 for youngsters 11-15, and kids 10 and under are admitted free. Pit passes for all ages are $30. Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m., pit gates open from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., warm ups at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. For more information got to limaland.com.
93.1 FM going back to ESPN
LIMA — ESPN Radio is returning to 93.1 FM beginning on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2.
The daily lineup will be 6 a.m. to 10 a.m, Golic and Wingo; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Dan Le Betard Show; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., The Dan Patrick Show and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sportstalk with Koza.
Instead of Cleveland Cavaliers and Notre Dame football, the station will air ESPN’s NBA matchups and college football games.
Cleveland Indians and Browns and Columbus Blue Jackets games will continue to air along with Tribe Talk, Cleveland Browns Preview, The Freddie Kitchens Show, Cleveland Browns Weekend and other related programming.
Saturday Morning Sportsrap with Matt and Matt will return Aug. 31. Columbus Gameday has been added from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays, which will include a preview of that week’s Ohio State football game. ESPN Radio was dropped by 93.1 FM in 2015.
