BLUFFTON — Carson Muhlenkamp and Britton Hall joined forces to shoot a low round of 62 in winning the boys 16-18 of Thursday’s Lima Junior Golf Association — McDonald’s Junior Series First Federal Bank Two Man Scramble at the par-72 Bluffton Golf Club. Austin Boley and Clay Quellhorst finished second with a 64.
Bridget Mulcahy and Alivia Koenig shot a 70 for the girls 16-18 crown. Carlie VanMeter and Emma Mayers were runners-up with an 82.
Boys 14-15: Justin Altenbach and Jack Shivley combined for a 75 to win the boys 14-15 title, three shots better than second place Brett Speckman and Andrew Moore .
In the nine-hole par 36 competition, Boys 12-13: Brevin Brandt and Parker Judy won the boys 12-13 championship with a 35, Connor Nartker and Seth Grieshop shot a 37 for second. Girls 15 & Younger: Kallie Mckinley & Madalynn Gaug won the girls 15 and younger crown with a 43.
Peewee (11 & Younger): Nate Whitman and Jake Ackroyd shot a 38 to finish one shot ahead of Ty Rudasill and Sullivan Hasting for the peewee 11 and younger championship.
