All-Star MVP goes to Locos’ Tolve

MASON — The Lima Locos’ Tyler Tolve (Kennesaw State) hit a home run and drove in two runs in earning MVP honors at Tuesday night’s Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Summer League All-Star Game as the North defeated the South 6-4 at Prasco Park.

Lavoisier Fisher (Georgia Highlands) had a base hit and Jared Rine (Kennesaw State) allowed two hits and no walks or runs while striking out one in a one-inning outing also for the Locos.

Lima’s Randon Jernigan (Georgia), Nick Colina (Kennesaw State) and Ryan Smith (Kennesaw State) went hitless and teammate Cole Reeves (Dallas Baptist) allowed an earned run, hit and walk while striking out one in one-inning of work.
