LIMA — Christian Nartker shot a 4-over-par 74 in winning the boys 16-18 division for the low round of day at Tuesday’s Lima Junior Golf Association — McDonald’s Junior Series Cappie Sportswear Open at Springbrook Golf Club.
One shot back was Austin Boley.
Ellen Naumann won the girls 16-18 crown with an 80, five shots better than runner-up Alivia Koenig.
Cole Koenig was the boys 14-15 champ with a 79. Liam Harris was second with an 84.
In the par-35 nine hole competition, Parker Judy won a playoff against Connor Nartker for the boys 12-13 championship after each shot 40. Haylee Wurm shot a 52 to win the girls 15 and younger division with Maddy Gaug finished second with a 57.
Sullivan Hasting was the peewee (11 and younger) champ with a 42, six shots ahead of second place Kallie McKinley.

Josh Recker had two hits and David Peck had a hit and an RBI for Kalida. Grant Hovest had a hit and an RBI for O-G.
Settlers 2, Locos 1
NEWARK — The Lima Locos dropped a Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League Game to Licking County on Tuesday night. Ryan Smith and Trevor Hatton had Lima’s only hits and Tyler Tolve drove in the Locos’ run.
