Track & field: Anna Invitational


BATH TOWNSHIP — The host Wildcats scored eight times in the bottom of the fifth inning to secure a 14-4 high school baseball victory against Delphos Jefferson.

Lex Boedicker had three doubles and an RBI, Caleb Buerger had two hits and three RBI and Logan Davis had a double, a single and an RBI for Bath. Roy Almonte had two hits and an RBI for Jefferson.

Shawnee sweeps

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — The Indians defeated Parkway 9-5 and 5-2.

In the 9-5 contest, Joey Azzarello had three hits and an RBI, A.J. Brown had two doubles and three RBI and Kale Ebling had a double and a single for Shawnee. Justan Felver had two hits and an RBI for Parkway.

In the 5-2 encounter, Caden Vermillion had two hits, including a home run, two RBI, Luke Cowan had a hit and two RBI and Jake Hutchins had a double and two RBI for Shawnee. Nick Riley had two hits for Parkway.

Elida tops DSJ,

Fostoria

ELIDA — The host Bulldogs defeated Delphos St. John’s 14-3 and Fostoria 12-1.

Against DSJ, Alec Ewing had two hits, including a double, and three RBI, Brayden Lybarger had two hits, including a double, and an RBI, Nick Niebel had a hit and four RBI and Noah Adcock had a hit and two RBI. Lincoln Mueller had two hits and two RBI and Brady Kerner had a double and an RBI for St. John’s.

Against Fostoria, Adcock had two doubles and four RBI and Niebel had a hit and three RBI.

Lima Senior

tops Perry twice

LIMA — The host Spartans defeated the Commodores 9-0 and 6-3.

In the 9-0 contest, winning pitcher Bryce Binkley allowed three hits and no walks while striking out seven in a seven-inning complete game. Caleb Dugan had two doubles, a single and an RBI, Brayden O’Dell had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Skyler Williams had two hits and an RBI for Lima Senior.

In the 6-3 game, Williams had two hits and teammate Adrian Bowsher had a hit and two RBI. Louis Hoersten had two hits for Perry.

Leipsic wins two

LEIPSIC — The host Vikings defeated Edgerton 5-4 and 7-2.

In the 5-4 win, Trey Schroeder had two hits and an RBI and Lorenzo Walther and Mitchell Lammers each had a hit and two RBI for Leipsic.

In the 7-2 contest, Tyler Hiegel and Cole Rieman each had two hits and an RBI for the Vikings.

Wapakoneta 8, Riverside 7

WAPAKONETA — The Redskins tied the game in the fifth and took the lead for good in the sixth. Jett Makar had two hits, including a triple, and one RBI, Cooper Talowsky had two hits, including a double, and two RBI, and Nathan Ambox doubled and had two RBI for Wapak.

Miller City 4, Arlington 3

ARLINGTON — Cole Niese, Jacob Koenig and Ezra Deitering each had two hits for Miller City.

St. Marys swept

ST. MARYS — The host Roughriders fell 9-0 and 6-0 to Versailles.

In the 9-0 contest, Clay Quellhorst had two hits for St. Marys. In the 6-0 encounter, Riley Sweigert doubled for the Roughriders.

Hardin Northern,

P-G split DH

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa secured a doubleheader split with 12-2 game two victory after falling 10-4 in game one.

In the 10-4 encounter, Owen Wetherill had two hits, including a double, and two RBI, Daylin Pees had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Lance Good had a double, a single and an RBI and Cole Morris had two hits for Hardin Northern. Ryan Johnson had a double and a single for P-G.

In the 12-2 contest, Travis Maag had three hits and an RBI, Brennen Morman had two hits and two RBI, Eli Huffman had two hits and Trey Hovest had a hit and three RBI for P-G. Wetherill had two hits and Zach Kurtz had a hit and an RBI for Hardin Northern.

FINDLAY — Gabe Colley doubled for Bluffton.

PANDORA — Hardin Northern defeated Pandora-Gilboa 18-0 and 24-4.

In the 18-0 contest, Winning pitcher Alex Jackson allowed one hit and three walks while striking out four in five innings. Gabbi Hackworth had four hits, including a double, and six RBI, Alex Jackson had four hits, including a triple, and two RBI, Zoey Curtis had three hits, including a double, and three RBI, Peyton Pore had two hits and two RBI and Haylie Spearman had two doubles and a single for Hardin Northern. Paige Farthing had P-G’s hit.

In the 24-4 encounter, Audrey Grindell had three hits and three RBI, Pore had two hits and four RBI, Jackson had two hits and four RBI, Curtis had a hit and five RBI and Hackworth had a hit and two RBI. Ciera Altman had a hit and two RBI for P-G.

Ottawa-Glandorf 5

PAULDING — Leigha Egnor had four hits and six RBI, Asia Arellano had three hits, including a double, and two RBI and Jalynn Parrett had two hits and two RBI for the host Panthers. Taylor Kohlman, Haley Karhoff and Anika Schreiber each had two hits and an RBI and Erica Annesser had two hits for O-G.

Delphos Jefferson 4

AYERSVILLE — Kendall Schrader had a double and two RBI and Jayla Rostorfer and Noel Warnament each had a hit and an RBI for Jefferson.

Elida drops two

FINDLAY — The visiting Bulldogs fell 8-0 and 5-1.

In the 8-0 encounter, Addie Miller had multiple hits for Elida. She also had two hits along with teammate Nevaeh Vorhees in the other game.

Bluffton sweeps

FINLDAY — The visiting Pirates won 8-5 and 19-18.

In the 8-5 win, Libby Schaadt had two doubles and a singe, Riley Busch had a double, a single and two RBI, Madison Fleece and Sophie Bricker each had two hits and Katie Prater had a hit and two RBI for Bluffton.

In the 19-18 victory, Schaadt had three hits, including a triple, and four RBI. Katie Prater had three hits, Sophie Bricker had a double and a single and Averey Rumer and Brinkley Garmatter each had two hits also for Bluffton.

Indian Lake, Shawnee

split doubleheader

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — The host Indians fell 9-6 and won 12-7.

In the 9-6 affair, Carmi Winegardner had two hits and Madison Peterman doubled for Shawnee.

In the 12-7 encounter, Kayla Seitz and Payton Moschiedler each had two hits for the Indians.

Bath sweeps

BATH TOWNSHIP — The Wildkittens defeated Evergreen 10-7 and 16-2.

On the day, Chandler Clark had five hits, including a home run, Kennedi Sullivan had four hits, include a homer, Riley Iiames had four hits and Shelby Marstellar had three hits for Bath.
