Roundup: Wapakoneta improves Western Buckeye League record to 6-1 in girls basketball

CELINA — Wapakoneta improved to 10-8 overall and 6-1 in the Western Buckeye League with a 53-37 girls high school basketball victory Thursday night against Celina.

Kassi Saunders had 16 points and Jess Davis scored 12 for the visiting Redskins. Makenna Klingshirn had eight points and Maria Lutz scored seven for the Bulldogs (5-13, 2-5 WBL).

Leipsic 44, Cory Rawson 28

RAWSON — Claire Rigel had 14 points and Peyton Henry scored 13 for Leipsic (12-5, 7-2 Blanchard Valley Conference). Zoe Chisholm had 17 points for C-R (4-16, 0-9 BVC).

Coldwater 26

NEW KNOXVILLE — Megan Jurosic had 14 points for the host Rangers (14-15, 4-3 Midwest Athletic Conference). Alli May had 14 points for the Cavaliers (10-8, 3-4 MAC).

Crestview 49, Lincolnview 34

MIDDLE POINT — Bailey Gregory had 19 points and Lexi Gregory scored 17 for Crestview (11-5, 4-2 Northwest Conference). Brianna Ebel had 11 points for Lincolnview (6-13, 0-6 NWC).

Altenbach will be playing golf at Lourdes University and Swallow will be playing soccer at Rose Hulman Institute.
