Koenig sets mark in Bluffton victory

BLUFFTON — Alivia Koenig connected on 7 3-pointers to pass Caity Matter (Henniger) for the girls career top spot at the school as the Pirates recorded a 58-43 Northwest Conference basketball victory Thursday night against Paulding.

Koenig finished with 22 points and has 211 3-pointers for her career, two better than the old mark.

Libby Schaadt had 14 points and Avery Rumer scored 10 also for Bluffton. Bri Townley had 15 points for Paulding.

COLUMBUS GROVE — Abigail Gladwell had 12 points and four assists, Angel Schneider had 10 points and six rebounds, Erin Downing scored eight and Rylee Sybert had five points, five rebounds and four assists for the host Bulldogs (8-1, 3-0 Northwest Conference). Jordan Decker had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Lancers (2-6, 0-2 NWC).

Upper Scioto Valley 39

MOUNT VICTORY — The host Golden Gophers held a 16-3 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Journee Roeder had 19 points, Faith Jenkins scored 16 and Shaylee McGrath and Jen Jordan had nine points each. Graesan Evans had 15 points and Haylie Martin scored seven for USV.

DELPHOS — Delaney Deuel (16), Aly Lindeman (13) and Addy Stewart (14) each scored in double figures for the the Wildcats.

New Knoxville 49,

Spencerville 37

SPENCERVILLE — Erin Scott had 18 points and Megan Jurosic scored 12 for New Knoxville, Kelsey Shaffer had nine oints and Gillian Goecke and Alex Carter scored eight each for Spencerville.

FORT JENNINGS — Kristen Luersman had 20 points for the host Musketeers.

KALIDA — The Wildcats outscored the Blue Jays 11-8 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory. McKayla Maag had 17 points and Grace Klausing scored 10 and finished with 14 rebounds for Kalida (5-3). Paige Gaynier had 11 points and Betty Vorst scored nine for DSJ (3-5). The Jays’ Melanie Koening had seven rebounds.

Coldwater 38

BATH TOWNSHIP — Chandler Clark had 14 points, six assists and three steals and Abby Dackin and Esther Bolon each scored nine for the host Wildkittens. Lauren Gilliand had 12 points and eight rebounds and Courtney May and Annelise Harlamert each scored eight for Coldwater. Harlamert also had eight rebounds.

St. Marys 59, Sidney 34

SIDNEY — Carly Caywood (17), Kendall Dieringer (12) and Clare Caywood (10) each reached double figures for St. Marys.

North Baltimore 45,

LEIPSIC — Liz Scheckelhoff had 12 points, 15 rebounds and three steals for the host Vikings (6-1, 3-1 Blanchard Valley Conference).

RAWSON — Ayanna Vekaryasz had 10 points and seven rebounds and Zoe Chisholm scored eight for C-R.
