ONU lacrosse coach to coach pro league

ADA — Ohio Northern men’s lacrosse head coach Nat St. Laurent has been named one of six head coaches for the new professional lacrosse league, the Premier Lacrosse League.

St. Laurent will remain as head coach of the Ohio Northern men’s team, a role he has held since founding the program in 2016.

The PLL unveiled the six head coaches who will lead its teams, beginning in June 2019. It is a group of some of the best leaders, strategists, and innovators that the game has known – headlined by National Lacrosse Hall of Fame member and four-time NCAA national champion, Dom Starsia.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for myself and my family,” St. Laurent said. “It will also be an amazing opportunity to be involved in the game of lacrosse at the highest level. I also believe this will elevate Ohio Northern University lacrosse at the same time, giving our student-athletes exposure to lacrosse at the highest level in the world.”
