Roundup: Kalida rallies to beat St. Marys in girls basketball

ST. MARYS — Kalida outscored the Roughriders 20-12 in third quarter to grab the lead after trailing 19-14 at halftime on its way to a 43-36 girls basketball victory Tuesday night.

Grace Klausing had 14 points, seven steals and six rebounds and Abby Wurth had scored 12 and pulled down six board for Kalida. Elena Menker had 11 points and Kendall Dieringer had 10 points and four steals for St. Marys.

Ottawa-Glandorf 76, Tinora 45

OTTAWA — Senior Erin Kaufman had (15), Kelsey Erford (13), Kasey Ellerbrock (11), freshman Erin Kaufman (11) and Brianna Schimmoeller (10) each scored in double digits for O-G.

Versailles 77, Delphos St. John’s 49

VERSAILLES — Paige Gaynier had 19 points, including converting all seven of her free throw attempts, and Betty Vorst scored 18 for St. John’s.

St. Henry 53, Wapakoneta 45

WAPAKONETA — St. Henry outscored the hosts 17-8 in the fourth quarter to gain the victory. Cora Stammen, Danielle Lange and Allison Siefring each had 10 points for St. Henry. Jess Davis had 12 points and Makenzie Wilson scored eight for Wapak.

LCC 53, Fort Jennings 35

LIMA — Lima Central Catholic took a 22-18 advantage at halftime after the game was tied at 11 at the end of the first quarter. The Thunderbirds expanded the lead to 40-23 after three periods.

Rosie Williams had 13 points and Mary Kelly Mulcahy scored 10 for Lima Central Catholic. Kristen Luersman had 13 points and Erica Rau scored eight for Fort Jennings.

Fairview 68, Delphos Jefferson 42

DELPHOS — Aly Lindeman had 21 points and Kaylee Buzard and Addy Stewart scored six each for the host Wildcats.

Cory-Rawson 42, Ada 20

RAWSON — Cory-Rawson held a 15-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. Zoe Chisholm and Grace Roebke each had 11 points for the host Hornets. Kirsten Poling scored seven for the Bulldogs.

Coldwater 47, Van Wert 27

VAN WERT — Lauren Gilliland had 28 points and 18 rebounds for the visiting Cavaliers. Van Wert stats were not reported by deadline.

Antwerp 50, Paulding 46

ANTWERP — Audrey Geisige had 13 points and Sadie Estle and Bri Townley each scored eight for the visiting Panthers.

Riverdale 42, Hardin Northern 37

DOLA — Maddie Grappy had 23 points for Hardin Northern.

gets rescheduled

BLUFFTON — Due to low numbers and injuries at Upper Scioto Valley, the girls varsity basketball game scheduled for Tuesday at Bluffton has been posted until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4.

LEIPSIC — Senior Carlee Siefker has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Findlay and compete for the the track and field team mostly in the long and triple jumps.
