BLUFFTON — The Pirates’ Alivia Koenig signed her letter of intent today to play golf & basketball at Urbana University starting in the fall of 2019.

Koenig is a four time district qualifier in golf, including finishing 27th in 2017 and 12th in 2018. Going into her senior basketball season, she is third all-time in career points scored with 1,018. She is also second all-time in career 3-pointers made with 192, and is second all-time in a season with 68 made 3-pointers during the 2017-18 season. She also has the record of most 3-pointers made in a game with nine against Perry during the 2015-16 season.

Koenig is also a member of the art and Latin clubs at Bluffton volunteers at Challenged Champions Equestrian Center in Ottawa. She plans to major in physical therapy.
