Statewide high school football computer ratings


St. Marys and Coldwater remained atop regions in the latest Ohio High School Athletic Association football computer ratings released Tuesday.

The Roughriders (6-0) are atop Division IV, Region 14 and the Cavaliers (6-0) are in first in Division VI, Region 24.

Three other Western Buckeye League teams join St. Marys among the top eight teams in the region standings. The top eight in each region when the final standings area announced Sunday, Oct. 28, will qualify for the playoffs.

Wapakoneta (5-1) is fourth in D-III, Region 12 and Kenton (3-3) and Van Wert (4-2) are fourth and fifth respectively in D-IV, Region IV.

Along with Coldwater, three Midwest Athletic Conference teams are in the top eight. Marion Local (6-0) is fourth in D-VI, Region 24 and Minster (5-1) and New Bremen (3-3) are second and sixth respectively in D V-II, Region 28.

Lima Central Catholic (6-0) is third in Division VI, Region 24.

The Northwest Conference has two teams still in the top eight. Columbus Grove (4-2) is second in the D-VI, Region 22 and Crestview (5-1) is third in D-VII, Region 28.

Pandora-Gilboa (6-0) is fifth and Leipsic (5-1) is seventh in D-VII, Region 26 and Perry (5-1) is eighth in D-VI, Region Region 24.
