LEIPSIC — The host Vikings moved to 14-1 overall and 4-0 in the Putnam County League with a 25-13, 25-16, 25-10 volleyball victory Thursday night against Ottoville.

Hayley Heitmeyer had 18 kills and six blocks, Carlee Siefker had 12 kills and four blocks, Brooke Brown had 17 digs, Selena Loredo had 24 assists and Peyton Heitmeyer had five blocks for Leipsic.

Quinley Schlagbaum had 17 digs and eight kills, Brynlee Hanneman had six kills and six digs and Kylee Hoersten had 21 assists for the Big Green.

Bath 3, Wapakoneta 0

BATH TOWNSHIP — The Wildkittens won 25-23, 25-19, 26-24.

Mallory Clark had 11 kills, Caitlyn Renner had 27 assists and Kali Armstrong and Riley Iiames each had nine digs for Bath.

Emma Rex had 16 digs, Emma Horner had nine digs, Emma Nolte had 12 assists and four aces, Renae Schulze had 11 assists, Makenzie Wilson had 13 kills and Chloei Barnett had seven kills for Wapak.

Crestview 3, Lima Central Catholic 0

LIMA — The Knights won 25-18, 25-20, 25-21

Lexi Gregory had 17 kills and 19 digs, Avery McCoy had 11 kills, Maddie Lamb had 17 assists, Bailey Gregory had 14 digs and Lauryn Black had 10 digs for Crestview.

Hannah Riepenhoff had 29 assists, Rosie Williams had nine kills and three blocks and Victoria Lauck had 22 digs for LCC.

Columbus Grove 3, Bluffton 0

COLUMBUS GROVE — The Bulldogs won 25-14, 25-10, 25-14

Rylee Sybert had six kills and 13 assists and Abigail Gladwell had 11 digs for Grove. Katie Prater had seven kills and 15 digs, Skyler Scoles had 10 assists and Kylie Monday had 19 digs for Bluffton.

Allen East 3, Spencerville 0

SPENCERVILLE — The Mustangs won 25-14, 25-17, 25-18. Grace Howard had 13 kills and five aces and Summer McCloskey had 24 assists for Allen East.

Hardin Northern 3, Temple Christian 0

DOLA — The Polar Bears won 25-12, 25-21, 25-11.

Rylie Bame had 17 kills, 14 digs and four aces, Gabby Weaver had 24 assists, Morgan Pauley had 11 digs and four aces and Alex Jackson had five aces for Hardin Northern. Bethany Whitman had seven digs and three aces, Lizzie Helser had six kills and Sophie White had 11 digs for Temple Christian.

St. Marys 3, Elida 1

ST. MARYS — The Roughriders won 25-14, 13-25, 25-14, 25-15.

LIMA — Singles players Aria Patel, Kunmi Ojo and Alotus Wei and the doubles teams of Sanjana Rajasekaren and Katie Clark and Ella Atkinson and Lade Onamusi all reached the semifinals for Shawnee, which went 8-0 in WBL dual matches this season.

Joining Patel in the first singles semis will be Mykaela Schriber (Kenton), Esther Bolon (Bath) and Clare Caywood (St. Marys)

Making the second singles semifinals along with Ojo are Allie Vanderhorst (St. Marys), Madison Snider (Wapak) and Ruby Bolon (Bath).

The third singles semifinalists along with Wei are Brianna Shank (Defiance), Ellie Schroer (Wapak) and Emma Schmiedebusch (Ottawa-Glandorf)

Joining Rajasekaren and Clark in the first doubles semis will be Olivia Kline and Paige Moonshower (Van Wert), Casey Minnig and Alyssa Good (Wapak) and Kara Danaher and Lydia Dabis (St. Marys)

Atkinson and Onamusi will battle in the second doubles semis along with Makenzie Schroeder and Mara Stiles (Wapak), Jada Buckner and Elizabeth Rutkowski (Van Wert) and Kerri Ellerbrock and Alysha Verhoff (O-G).

Play is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. Saturday at UNOH.

LCC 3, Findlay 2

LIMA — Singles players Olivia Kesner and Morgan Chaney an the doubles team of Anna Janowski and Madie Brinkman all won for Lima Central Catholic at Collett Street Courts.

VAN WERT — Ainsley Miller had three goals and Kenna Hale and Abbie Dackin each had one. Emily Rocca got the shutout in goal as Bath improved to 6-4-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the WBL.

CELINA — Lilly Ankerman and Emma Wibbeler each had two goals and St. Marys’ Madison Rust and Celina’s Carley Eichler each had one tally.

Allen East 2, Fort Jennings 1

FORT JENNINGS — Allen East’s Julia Meister and Kinsey Helmet and Fort Jennings’ Reilly Fitzpatrick each had a goal.

Wapakoneta 3, Defiance 1

DEFIANCE — Emily Ruppert, Marisa Raney and Nicole Richard each had a goal for Wapak.

LCC 5, Coldwater 1

COLDWATER — Avery Rice had three goals and LCC’s Annika Wilker and Sophia Santaguida (LCC) and Coldwater’s Blair Muhlenkamp each had one tally.

Ottawa-Glandorf 5, Kenton 2

KENTON — Caitlin Bockrath had three goals and three assists and Kelsey Erford and Claire Inkrott each had a tally for O-G. Hannah Holland scored both of Kenton’s goal.

LIMA — Brody Bowman had three goals and Temple Christian’s Daniel Engle and Preston Patrick and Spencerville’s Hunter Christian each had one.

BATH TOWNSHIP — Luke Young had two goals and a pair of assists, Asher Antrim had a two tallies and Bath’s Taylor Williams had one goal.

NEW KNOXVILLE — Kyle Wallis had Lincolnview’s goal on a assist by Blaike Kerner.

ADA — Drew Hadley had 10 saves for the host Bulldogs.

New coach

BATH TOWNSHIP — Joe Gomez has been hired as the new Bath High School varsity coach. Gomez has been a varsity assistant with Napoleon, Defiance and most recently Bath and been employee of Bath Local Schools since 2006.
