KALIDA — Kalida’s Colin Erhart, Connor Krouse and Gabe Hovest all scored goals and Brad Siefker was credited with an assist. Kalida’s goalie Brayden Recker notched the shutout with three saves. Bath’s Brentin Brock recorded 13 saves.

Kalida improves to 2-0-3 and Bath falls to 2-3-0.

Ottawa-Glandorf 3, Bryan 2

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Nolan Untebrink got the hat trick to record all of the Titans’ goals. Titan goalie Ethan Alt had eight saves.

Bluffton 8, Spencerville 0

SPENCERVILLE —Bluffton’s Isaiah Schwaab had the trip to lead the Pirates. Other Pirates scoring were Jesse Montel, Simon Derstine, Luke Young, Jude Spallinger and Brandon Good. Assists were added by Andrew Lovett, Jaden Mays, Young and Schwaab. Bearcat keepers Dominic Adkins and Jacob Litsey combined for 10 saves and Pirate keepers Dakota Clymer and Nic Essinger had zero saves.

Bluffton improves to 3-1-1.

Defiance 4, Miller City 0

DEFIANCE — Miller City fell to 2-3 on the season. Miller City’s goalie Natalie Koenig had 15 saves.

Kalida 1, Bath 0

KALIDA — Kalida’s Melanie Meyers scored the lone goal. Kalida goalie Bailey White, who notched the shutout, had seven saves. Kalida evens its record at 2-2-0 and Bath falls to 1-3.

Continental 8, Delphos Jefferson 0

CONTINENTAL — Continental’s Addy Armey recorded the hat trick and Alex Hoeffel had two goals. Other goals scored by Continental were Katie Keller, Jensen Armey and Angle Brzozowski. Hoeffel recorded her 100th goal of her career. Pirates goalie Madi Burckhardt got the shutout and had one save.

Ottawa-Glandorf 3, Bryan 0

BRYAN — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Erin Kaufman scored two goals and Ashley Schroeder added another on a penalty kick. Titan goalie Ashton Okuley had three saves to record the shutout.

O-G improves to 2-2 and Bryan falls to 1-3.

Shawnee 5, Maumee 0

Shawnee’s Sophia Fusillo had three goals and Rachel Russ and Tessa Jordan each recorded goals. Kennedy Jensen, along with Russ and Jensen, were credited with assists. Indians goalies Grace O’Conner and Kaelan Swallow combined for the shutout with one save. Shawnee remains unbeaten at 5-0.

Lima Senior 2, Delphos Jefferson 0

Thunderbird Invitational

LIMA —Lima Central Catholic took third place at the LCC Lady Thunderbird Invitational-Scarlett division at Lost Creek Country Club. TheThunderbirds shot a 338 as a team. Ursuline Academy was first with a 331 and Shelby took second with a 337. Shawnee finished ninth with a 391.

LCC’s Erin Mulcahy finished fourth overall after shooting a 76 and Mary Kelly Mulcahy placed sixth with a 78. Perrysburg Ana Maria Jimenez and Gahanna Lincoln’s Kayla Davis were the medalist after firing 74s.


Bath 3, Delphos Jefferson 0

Bath won in straight sets 28-26, 25-23 and 25-11. Bath’s Caitlyn Renner had 33 assists and two aces and Mallory Clark had 13 kills and nine blocks. Eden Adkins added two aces and Kali Amrstrong had 23 digs.

Arlington s, Ada 0

Ada 2, Hardin Northern 0

ARLINGTON — Ada lost its first match to Arlington, 25-16 and 25-21 and then beat Hardin Northern 25-16 and 25-18. Against Arlington, Sidney Gossard had 11 assists and Rilan Conley had five kills and six digs. Megan Light added four kills and Morgan Swick had seven digs and three aces. Miranda Wills had five digs. In the second match, Gossard had four kills, 10 digs, six assists and two aces and Light had three kills and two blocks. Swick had 15 digs and three aces.

Allen East 3, Waynesfield-Goshen 0

WAYNESFIELD — Allen East won in straight sets, 25-10, 25-12 and 25-21. Allen East’s Grace Howard recorded seven saves and Kristen Whitley added six. Maddie Henry had four kills. Summer McCloskey, who recorded 35 assists, notched six aces and Maggie Thullen added four aces. Waynesfield’s Cassidy Craig had five digs, three kills and one ace and Hannah Hendrickson had nine digs and Rylie Barrington had five digs, nine assists, one ace and three kils.



ONU 34, Adrian 17

ADA — Ohio Northern opened its season with a victory over Adrian (Mich.)at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

The Polar Bears (1-0) got 76 yards rushing and two touchdowns from freshman Brock Martin and a key pick-6 by Jaymar Hines in the win.

Pitt-Greensburg 1, Bluffton 0

NEW CONCORD, Ohio —Pitt-Greensburg’s Orazio Barbarino scored the lone goal. Bluffton falls to 1-1 on the season.


Thomas More 3, Bluffton 0

BLUFFTON — Thomas More beat Bluffton in straight sets, 25-17, 25-13 and 25-19. Beavers’ Remi Bower had seven kills and Erin Weisgarber added 15 assists and nine digs.

Ohio Northern 3, Defiance 0

ADA — Ohio Northern defeated Defiance in straight sets, 25-16, 25-15 and 25-14. ONU’s McKenna Jordan had nine kills and Josie Andres had seven. Katie Wade recorded 35 assists and Madison Broering notched 14 digs. ONU improves to 2-1 and Defiance falls to 0-3.
