Roundup: Allen East posts NWC girls soccer victory against Delphos Jefferson

HARROD — Allen East moved to 2-0-1 on the season with a 5-0 Northwest Conference girls soccer victory Thursday night against Delphos Jefferson.

Olivia Silona had two goals and Kinsey Helster, Ally Richardson and Julia Meyer had one each. Meyer also had an assist. Lauren Criblez earned the shutout in goal.

Bath 3, LCC 2

Chandler Clark had two goals and Bath’s Hailey Robey and Lima Central Catholic’s Avery Rice and Josie Mohler each had one.

Elida 4, Miller City 1

MILLER CITY — Elida’s Jency Jenkins, Baylie Moeing, Brooke Reese and Morgan Klett and Miller City’s Kayleen Maas each had a goal.

Anna 11, Spencerville 0

ANNA — Taylor Noll and Taylor Kauffmann each had three goals, Kelsie McKinney had two tallies and Amber Stewart, Megan Dieckman and Breelyn Berner each had a single score. Noll also had three assists.

Van Buren 8, Fort Jennings 1

VAN BUREN — Madison Neidert had Fort Jennings’ goal.

Kalida 6, Columbus Grove 1

COLUMBUS GROVE — Lauren Langhals had two goals and Kalida’s Kathryn Siebeneck, Peyton Wurth, Melanie Meyers and Delany Vorst and Grove’s Emily Watt each had one.

Temple Christian 2, Lima Senior 1

LIMA — Sam Sharik had two goals and Andrew Zell had one with an assist by Cole Mericle. Cody Motter made 10 saves in goal for Temple Christian.

WAPAKONETA — Hunter Coffey had four goals, Aaron Good had a pair of tallies and Payne Harshbarger and Juan Fernandez each had a goal.

BLUFFTON — Jayden Mays had three goals and Jesse Montel, Asher Antrim, Isaiah Schwaab, Jude Spallinger, Jackson Steinmetz, Tayton Kleman and Luke Young each had one. Young and Steinmetz each had two assists and Dakota Clymer and Nic Essinger combined to get the shutout in goal.

FORT JENNINGS — Gabe Hovest and Brad Siefker each had two tallies and Josh Verhoff had one. Brayden Recker got the shutout in goal.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Ryan McGuire and Jake Miller each had a goal and Landon Hoehn got the shutout in goal.

St. Marys 4, Ottawa-Glandorf 3

ST. MARYS — Ethan Rose had two goals and Andrew Ibrahim and Duncan Fry each had one for the Roughriders. Nolan Unterbrink had two gols and Ethan White scored one for O-G.

New Knoxville 6, Spencerville 1

SPENCERVILLE — Joseph Baende and Jose Maria Rabadan each had two goals and New Knoxville’s Zach Davis and Chris Covert each had one. The name of Spencerville’s goal scorer was not reported.

LIMA — Medalist Austin Boley (35), Clay Quellhorst (40), Reese Sweigart (42) and Nathan Kuffner (43) combined for the winning total. Riley Creps led Elida with a 42.

Carson Muhlenkamp led Coldwater with a 39. Ray Newton shot a 49 for New Knoxville’s low round.

CELINA — Co-medalist Ellen Naumann (40), Alana Siefring (47), Claire Clune (48) and Calli Hemmelgarn (49) combined for the winning team total at Celina Lynx Golf Club. Haylee Stukey led Parkway with a 40.

NWC quad match

OTTAWA — Medalist Ethan Harmon (35), Gavin Harmon (38), Alex Gallman (41) and Drake Mertz (43) combined for the winning team total of 157 at Country Acres Golf Club followed by Columbus Grove (180), Bluffton (185) and Crestview (242) in a match involving Northwest Conference teams.

Grove’s Jacob Oglesbee (43), Bluffton’s Cole Koenig (45) and Crestview’s Dillon Underwood (52) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

BLUFFTON — The Pirates fell 25-8, 25-14, 25-10. Katie Prater had five kills and 10 digs, Skyler Scoles had six assists and Kylie Monday had 10 digs for Bluffton.

Leipsic 3, Pandora-Gilboa 0

PANDORA — The Vikings won 25-14, 25-9, 25-13. Hayley Heitmeyer had 24 kills and three blocks, Selena Loredo had 25 assists and four aces, Carlee Siefker had 17 digs and seven kills and Lyndie Hazelton ahd 14 assists for Leipsic. P-G stats were not reported.

ST. HENRY — The Redskins won 25-17, 25-22, 25-21. Lauren Gilliland had 14 kills, five blocks and 11 digs and Taylor Siefring had 10 kills for Coldwater. St. Henry stats were not reported by deadline.

BATH TOWNSHIP — The Wildkittens won 25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 25-19. Mallory Clark had nine blocks and 16 kills, Kaleigh Ketcham had 15 kills, Caitlyn Renner had 43 assists and Eden Adkins had four aces for Bath. Cheyenne Welch had nine kills, Evelyn Frueh had 12 assists, McKenzie Miller had 26 digs and Nevaeh Vorhees had 15 assists, nine digs and three aces for the Bulldogs.

VAN WERT — The Cougars won 25-19, 25-16, 25-11. Jamison Clouse had eight kills and three blocks, Adrianna Grothaus had 19 digs and three aces and Katie Coplin had 20 digs, 11 assists and five kills for Van Wert.

Renae Schulze had six assists assists and three aces, Emma Rex had 20 digs, Makenzie Wilson had five kills and four blocks and Kalie Miller had five kills and two blocks for Wapak.

HAMLER — The Wildcats fell 25-13, 25-13, 26-28, 25-22

Cayla Troyer had 18 digs and four aces, Sofie van Wezel had eight kills and Brittany Kuhlman had 25 assists for Miller City.
