FINDLAY — Drew Kuhlman, Nolan Unterbrink and Ethan White all scored goals for Ottawa-Glandorf and Connor Niese, Josh Rosengarten and White recorded assists. Titan goalie Ethan Alt, who made three saves, notched the shutout.

Miller City 3, Delphos Jefferson 1

MILLER CITY — Miller City’s Hannah Brown, Abby Niese and Lexi Heuerman all had goals and Kayleen Maas recorded an assists. For Delphos Maddie McConahaea had one goal.

Miller City improves 2-1-0.

Elida’s lone win came at No. 2 singles from Madalyn Schomber.

DELPHOS — Delphos Jefferson’s Braxton Scalf was the medalist after shooting a 40. Other Jefferson scores were Logan Gallmieier 45, Matt Schroeder, 51 Brady Johnston 56 and John Pseekos and Darius Shurelds 60. For Bluffton Cole Koenig and Micah Minnig shot a 46. Other Pirate scores were Drew Wilson 47, Kenny Lovett 48, Jordan Siefer 55, Jared Piercefield 56. Columbus Grove’s Zac Roberts shot a 43 and Owen Macke shot a 44. Other scores were Jacob Olgesbee 46, Gabe Verhoff 47 and KUrth Griffith had a 49. Paulding’s Kolson Egnor shot a 41 and Hunter Kauser recorded a 42. Other Panther scores were Fletcher Cook 45, Cole Heller 48 and Chad Carper 50.

Girls golf

New Bremen 203, Minster 249

MINSTER — New Bremen’s Caylie Hall and Sarah Parker both shot 47s and shared medalist honors. Other Cardinal scores were Amy Balster 51, Cassie Stachler 58 and Alli Wilker 64. For Minster, Taylor Homan shot a 48 with Layne Vossard recorded 51, Claire Lane 73 and Haley Prenger 77.


Parkway 3, Ottoville 0

ROCKFORD — Parkway beat Ottoville in straight sets, 25-11, 25-21 and 25-22. For Ottoville, Brynlee Hanneman had 10 kills and nine blocks and Kyle Hoersten had 14 assists.

Delphos Jefferson 3, Waynesfield-Goshen 0

DELPHOS — Jefferson won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-14 and 25-23. Waynesfield-Goshen’s Cassidy Craig had four digs, five kills and two aces and three blocks. Hannah Hendrickson had 14 digs. Rylie Barrington one dig, 11 assists, two aces and one block. Jo Roof had two kills, two assists and two blocks. Lauren Case had six digs and four aces.

Vanlue 3, Temple Christian 0

Temple Christian’s Lizzie Helser had six kills and two aces and Sophie White had 16 digs and three assists. Lindsey Stump added 10 digs. Temple Christian falls to 1-4 and 0-1 in the Northwest Central Conference.

Lima Senior football tickets

Tickets for Friday’s Lima Senior football game at Piqua High School will be available in the Lima Senior Athletic Office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Presale tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults. All tickets at the gate are $8. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.


Racers honored

Two members of the Northwestern Ohio volleyball team were honored by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference on Monday as Devon Heitkamp (JR/New Bremen, OH) was named as the Attacker of the Week while Kayleigh Hulst (JR/Grand Rapids, MI) was selected as the Setter of the Week.

Heitkamp recorded 61 kills and hit .303 in four matches last week as the Racers won their second tournament title in as many weeks at the Lance Classic in Winona Lake, Indiana. In a three-set win over Governors State on Friday, she had 10 kills and five block assists and in a five-set victory later that day against Indiana East, Heitkamp had 14 kills, three digs and two block assists.
